My server (EMarr) traditionally has high prices (I'm told), but there are several of these in the Bazaar for prices ranging 2400-7500pp. I picked up the one at 2400 and will happily upgrade my monk's Zekhas' Katar, which are being offered at 3500-4800 at the moment. Sure, prices drop as better stuff comes out, but this seems pretty low!
Anyway, unless the proc rates are very different, the WLK looks like a much better weapon (at level 55+) than ZK: better stats (STA makes up for the lower HP, though I'm close to the STA cap), bigger proc, better damage, faster. Of course, I wasn't level 55 yet when I got my ZK.

I got this today as loot for my 65 monk. Not to bad a weapon. Dropped off Paruek the Strong (lvl 65)in PoS. He spawns in back room of north building.

Heh I see these posts picked it up for 13k, 16k etc. Lol on Stromm its going for 34k to 37k. Such is the life of a noob server.

I just got one a few days ago and was wondering I have Rujarkian Stone Knuckles.
Which should I put pri and sec?

As a bst your sole purpuse is dmg, imo i would put the higher dmg wep in main hand.

CHoS has a stun proc. stun proc = extra aggro (even and especially if resisted, i believe). extra aggro = bad for non-MTs. So, be advised.

i would agree. the CHoS if for the soloing bst when in groups i would go as the previous post entwood and waining light would be the group and raid combo until you get the epic then waining and haste epic. slow when soloing till it procks the switch to CHoS.

Just picked this up for 13k on seventh hammer.
I would appreciate any advice peeps could give me, at the moment these sell for about 10K on veeshan (max price 17K or so). Anyway the question was is it worth while buying this? I'm about to get epic'd and yes i can equip this.
My thought was use my epic up until 60 just for the slow i get since i solo most of the time and then as soon as my epic procs replace it with this. IMO that is what i will do, but would appreciate any BL's opinion or anyone who knows about it really, thanks in advance

Only thing i see wrong with this line of reasoning is that you have to wait for your epic to proc slow...which sometimes happens a lot on a given mob and sometimes not at all...depends on what you are doing...if soloing use the spell that way you know the mob is slowed instead of havig to wait for a proc and even with dexterity over 200 its not a given it will...gah just noticed you are lvl 55...that makes my point about the slow spell mute...still hit it with the 30 slow first until then and use your disc to absorb damage...

I am a 65 epiced beastlord and I use this in place of my primary epic due to the enormous taunt it puts out when the epic slow procs. Many mobs are immune to slow or you have someone who has a better slow land, rendering the epic proc useless. That doesnt stop the attempted proc from gaining taunt. If Im not the primary slower, I unequip my epic and use this (until I find something better).
First off this weapon is REQUIRED level 55 as others mentioned. Verant messed up and there was a lot of confusion with their recommended and required level on items, half recommeneded you couldn't equip at all, others worked as they should. You can only use this at lvl 55+ now. As for the weapon goes it seems to run about 20-25k but you will very occasionally see it for less. I bought one a few days ago but being lvl 55 I still can't use it. For the price and stats this is one of the best deals, you can buy a Khasek's Katar which is only 12/20 with stats or this for about half the price with 6 more damage and 2 less delay. Only donwfall is the level restriction, but other then that this will make a great off hand weapon i am guessing along with my 14/20 entwood mace in main hand.

I picked up one of these in the bazaar last night. I was so excited. Then I realized it is now Required 55 instead of Reccomend of 53. I'm 51. Long way to go before I can use this now :( Damn that old screen shot!

Looted one of these last night off the mini in desert area of PoS. It is definitly now REQUIRED LEVEL 55.

before, when you look at narandi's lance, tigeraptor tail, club of the ice ocean and such, you will see red numbers and a recommanded lvl.
those are now changed to REQUIRED because ppl ******* enuff to varant that you CAN'T equip b4 that lvl recommanded, thus making it REQUIRED
so when you see a weapon with a recommanded lvl now, it is EQUIPABLE b4 that lvl

dont know about the others but you have never been able to equip the club of ice ocean before level 51. they just fixed some misslabled gear to reflect that they in fact required level 51 to equip.

Love this weapon, waiting on my turn to loot battle fists, but until then, this is it!, cant beat it for a bst, and at 62 the 81 DD lands almost everytime, has landed on all bosses so far, including Aten

This item was updated in December 4th patch. I noticed it when I was looking at the stats in my inventory that it had changed.
It is now REQUIRED LEVEL 55, the image above, if it says "recommended level 53" is now incorrect.
I'm guessing because it nows says REQUIRED, that you HAVE to be at least 55 to even equip it. I'm 99% sure of this but if someone finds otherwise, please post here =)

Well I got lvl 55 and now it equips. Dont know whats up might be a bug.

If you look at the image is says recommended lvl 53 so you should be able to equip it at lvl 54 Wizno.

This is not an AE proc. Look again. Single target fire-based DD (tops out at 84 damage at level 65). This is a kick-**** weapon.

Under spell info it also says, Target Type: single. I have fought right on top of mezzed mobs with this zillions of times and never once has the proc broken mezz. So if anyone has held off on this sweet weap because of this misleading info, go get one.
