Killed this guy last night on FV.. he also drops the ornate leg molds for plate classes
Drops in Drunder, Fortress of Zek (Plane of Tactics). I believe it was a Daiku Overseer*sp* that drops this. Anival The Blade drops the Wand of the War Wizard

How would you know? All of your chars are in the 30's lol
His monk is 48 (planable) and if you see his gear he has CoF and Wristgaurd of Thunder etc, he might have an unmentioned main.

Does this drop off any random mob? Or just the humanoid mobs? I've yet to see one drop, and would really love one without paying 50kpp =)

I have heard that this, along with Wand of the War Wizard and perhaps other PoP items, no longer drops. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks.

It seems Verrant has finally gotten the idea of allowing Rogues to have weapons better than their epic in the high end game.
Good piercer replacements to the Ragebringer were very sparse in SoV, while you might argue many had better Dps by Damage/Delay comparison, one thing they lacked was damage of 15+, the main reason Ragebringer is as good as it is, weapon damage after all affects backstab damage directly. (Erm this is also why Wurmslayer was changed to 1hs from piercing lol)
I expect to see mid tier guilded rogues wielding this, or the 15/23 dagger from PoJ shortly as the "standard" weapons' setup.

emmm, wurmy was never rogue usable, and FYI it was changed to 1hs because pallies were ******** about not being able to use it.

Is it just me, or is verant making alot of items that are comparing to the epics on most scales, hopefully that means there is a new type of epic weapon, or continuations to the existing ones. This weapon is a good example, same dmg but 3 less delay than the rogue epic, and some decent stats to go with it, plus this is droppable, but has a recommended level, but to me this is just as good.
for rogues that aren't in guilds that can do places like VT or Ssra, this makes a good combo with epic. Keep epic in offhand for the haste, attack (and stats) and a high damage low delay poker like this in main. There's another 15-23 (I believe) poker called Runebladed Dagger that is also tradeable.
What I want to see is what comes out of the Plane of Time, the only 5th tier Plane...
now see this is a toy i look forward to i really want one at 41 probly wont do better then my sch but hey when i grow up itll be sweet with an epic
