Just stumbled across this page and i wanted to say i miss this sword. I could hold agro like no other with this weapon back in the day. Procs and Crits....all i saw on my screen. Way kewl graphics and hardly anyone had it. Still have this weapon on my Sk account thats not active. Good times good time.
Just wanted to pay my respects to a weapon that helped me progress.

This weapon did not have the strength of its effect changed with the revamp of SK/Necro spells. Lifedraw the scribed spell now hits/heals for 105 points while this weapon still hits/heals for 45. Not all is lost however, as it is worth 21409 tribute!

Whoa Baby. I just got this weapon, being fortunate enough to have the plat in the bank at the time. I have to say that it is fabulous. I still love the EPIC and will certainly use both weapons on and off, but WOW is this thing effective. It slices and dices the monsters to shreds. Meanwhile, it is certainly a head turner, as far as looks. I would say that the INNY, Windblade and the Cleaver are all on Par with each other, depending upon the circumstances, however, being that I have worked with all three, I would give the Cleaver the edge so far. I only have five hours under my belt with it, so it is still early in the game to be certain, but WOW am I happy with this.

On the picture up top it says recommended level of 50...but a while ago i saw one in bazaar and it said required level of 55. Does anyone know if the level of use was lowered, or if the picture above is wrong.

Oh i also wanted to ask if that proc will work with spell casting fury, i had a chance to try it out today and it works with improved damage II. So far i'm incredibly happy with this slasher, i can still hit above 200 easily and if it does work with the aa fury then that'll just rock my face off.
Yeah, all dd's work with spell casting fury. Improved damage works only cause shadowknights can memorize the spell

Just found one of these on tribunal for 20k, let my windblade go quick so i could get it before someone else. question is how's the dps compared to windblade figuring in the proc and all. i know dex makes a difference but just a genereal guesstimate would be cool.

this weapon blew away the windblade. i could crit higher and hold nasty agro with this weapon.
I have to say I love this Sword , I got one for my Shadowknight and I have to tell you I have never had such a weapon, This thing is truley AWSOME

Well...I know a few of you are disappointed about how powerful this weapon is, but *if* epics get upgraded...expect this to look like a toothpick compared to epic v2.0.
Even assuming this never happens, I have easily done 40+ trials and never seen this drop. Any of you ever seen it actually drop? If so then what mob?

Does this drop off random mobs in the trial or is it a drop off the executioner?

All I can say is WOW.
It looks cool, it makes Greenmist look like a cheap toothpick, and it's almost as good as Inny's Curse... I'm suprised it's tradeable =P

This is WORLDS better than SK epic. Like, one MEEELION percent. Innoruuk's Curse looks like Innoruuk's Limp Noodle compared to this weapon.

depending on proc rate i wouldnt say "WORLDS better" ;
Str: +20 Dex: +15 Int: +15 Magic Resist: +15 Fire Resist: +10 Cold Resist: +10 Poison Resist: +5 Disease Resist: +5 HP: +60 Mana: +40
stats are much better (str increases chance to hit, dex has more procability, not to mention the mana gain from 15int(@60 1 INT=10mp 190mp gain)not to mention the elemental resists and hps are higher, plus the effect on innoruuks curse gives more hp over time unless you can proc this over 6 times per fight. i would still say innoruuks curse is the better choice even with the possibility of epic upgrades.

Honestly the only reason that I'd choose this over the epic is because of the fact that the SK epic is tough as hell and takes hours upon hours to complete. This on the other hand can be bought or even looted. The proc/stats on Inny's Curse are much better, but the availability on the cleaver makes it a much better item to get. That and when you get bored with this one you can sell it for possibly 90k, maybe even more. Comparable to Narandi's Lance, but even the lance is more complicated to get than this would be.
