Added a 125 dd Ruj Bile proc to mine and it is awesome. Ratio is good and allows great timing to cast spear line in between attacks. Put up life tap proc or mana and you will have great dps and no issue holding aggro anytime you want it.

I just got this on the Vazaelle server bout 5 days ago. I'd only seen it selling one other time and it was 17k , then i saw it in bazaar for 10k. honestly i dont think the seller knew wtf he was doing... but i sent a friend of mine on the server a tell who happens to be 65 and the cleric for the most uber guild on my server, and he hooked me up with the 10k to get it. unfortunately for prolly the next 2 weeks ill be farming morning dews in Lfaydark from faeries, but its such a bad *** weapon i totally think it was worth it. I have 2hb maxed out, and with the best buffs i can get a hold of i was hitting mobs for over 200 hp, holding agro from a warrior in a PoN group who was actually a few lvls higher then me. It owns, and if u see it for sale ... find any way you can to get it. It looks bad *** too =)

How does the Disease damage work? Does it use the modifier if you are fighting disease based mobs, or does it do a resist check against any mob everytime you hit it to see if it resists the +2 disease damage?
Yes, vs. Disease check is made on every hit. If mob does not resist, it's like hitting with a 41/38 weapon.

Posted: Jul 23 2003 at 6:26 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) well its kind of right but we'd ned to compare to a higher dmg bonus so lets say the disease is 5 ok? so 5 dmg disease if it is somewhat resisted it will deal 2-3 to added ratio if it is fully resisted then no add and if it is fully landed well then its a full 5.

This is the weapon of my choice for a SK (so far that i've seen for 2hb). Not only does it look cool as hell, but it also is a badass weapon.

I have ran a number of parses as well, and come to the conclusion that over an average fight, the Staff is about the same or slightly better at damage then Windblade. Not to mention the equal stats, and added 10int. This is a weapon of choice.
I would gladly take this over a Windblade, but there is one better weapon I know of via PoP. It is black Bastardsword.
Anyway, another bonus of this weapon is it looks really deadly, green end, sharp detailed edges. And, unlike the windblade; this is not "common as hell" and cannot be seen in the hands of almost every melee ;)

Windblade has a better ratio (0.88 - 0.974), AC (15 vs 10) , more hps (12 stam and 35 hps vs 5 stam and 45hps) as far as the int well its ok...
So in summary I guess it looks better than windblade and is rarer.

It looks just like the icon graphic, cept the handle is significantly longer....also the green ball in the center is "see-thru".

good christ! ive NEVER used a 2hb weapon in my whole 54 lvls, but i have about 110 training points saved up at the guild trainer,,,, looks like its time to cash them in
wonder how much this will run for? I'm betting at least 16k

Sold mine for 50k. Its better then windblade, looks cooler, and is much more rare. I cant see it going for under 25k.

nah it will be worth a lot but that much, a) its 50+ only and b) its sk only so it rules out twinks and with onyl 1 class usable it wont be that high of a demand

its a DISEASE imbued staff... Sks love that short of crap. excellent item :)

Only real prob is...that is Bst/ Mnk only, and this is SK only *duh*
