This weapon is the best pet weapon out there for low level pets after 24 lvl duel weild is better for pets. Everytime I see one in the bazaar for under 25pp I buy it for my low level toons pets. I seen a pet hit for 60s and they hit pretty fast too. So if you got the cash get one well worth it. Also get a hitpoint belt and haste muzzle makes your levels fly.

These sell for 20-50PP on Xev. No one wants to use them, although I have no idea why not. I give them to my pets-no damage cap on the pet, and he hits for max 58 very fast with one of these. Weighty Polearm, mage muzzle and girdle, buff him up, and you're good for many hours of smishage.

The weighty polearm may have been nerfed with the last patch. Some fellow LDoNers have reported that their peak damage using this weapon has fallen from 60-80 to 30-40 since the patch. Very sad. Yet another victim of the mightly nerf bat, unless I'm missing something.

The price has jumped insanely on the E`ci server its gone up to 500pp per!!! which is insane because i remember picking up one for 35pp and they used to average for 50

i say that should give them to pets vender dont by them and there are cheap see the for less then 20 pp pet wep all the way

GREAT item. Until I got my War Marshall's bladed staff I'd use this stricktly because it attacked so often you ended up getting better damage output. Gave the one someone gave me to a High elf paladin in Gfay who looked like he could use it

I picked up one for 15pp from a low lvl bard who had it given to him from a friend. Obvioulsy being a bard, he couldn't use it. So I saw him auctioning it off, and I (a bard as well) bought it with out hesitation for my ald Shadowknight. I can't believe it was only 15pp

I picked one of these bad boys up for my 41 ranger coming out of retirement. Best 25pp I've ever spent. :)

At level 41, the damage is 24 with a bonus of 8 due to the relatively low delay compared to other 2H weapons. Even with my mediocre unbuffed strength of 132, I can still hit for 70s-80s x 2, with my highest being 106. The AC and other stats are gravy.

I wouldn't recommend using a WP until the late 30s or so. If you want to work on 2HS before then, and money IS an object, stick with a Silver Swiftblade if you're a ranger, a Nathsar Greatsword for everyone else.

Incidentally, there's a relatively easy way to derive the actual stats of rec-level'd items for whatever level you are - assuming you can't look at it in a trade window (which is obviously the preferred method). Take the maximum stat, divide it by the rec level, multiply it by your current level, and round up. For example, the 29 maximum damage of the WP would be divided by 50, then multiplied by my ranger's level of 41, rounded up... voila, 24 damage.

besides the fact that its a heavy 2hs weapon with a min lvl 50 the real thing that brings the price down is it is commonly dropped in the jails. u dont even need a whole group to do it. if it was a more rare of a drop or maybe if it dropped off something harder its value would be higher. the sucky thing is u cant vendor it they wont buy it for some odd reason =/

I'm a non tweak but I've made 4 warriors so far so I know how to play a warrior. And I was lucky enough to get this from level 20 or earlier. It is amazing for that level.

Truely well worth pay anything to get your hands on it. The delay is incredable for a 2HS so keeping your skills up is easy if you want to use more then one weapon style. I still use it and I'm a level 41 Ogre Warrior.

Why so cheap? Does it give ya rabies or is it just really common?

Can someone link a pic of what this looks like equipped? Ive never actually seen this before, despite its popularity.

Didn't read through all the posts, but this also dropped off the Wraith that pops in the corner of the basement...4 kills last night, and one drop, don't know if that is a normal ratio, or if it is random off of her.
