Lined Burlap Sleeves  

 

I've been absent from EQ for almost a year. Came back last week. I logged on last night and some of my old guildmates wanted me to come along on a raid for Xanamech Nezmirthafen. Dragon was pretty tame. Was told his AOEs were nasty but they only did 800dmg on me. My resists were considerably high though. One life tape and it was like he never touched me.

Anyways, Junkbeast popped after we killed Xanamech Nezmirthafen. Agroed on me and blinded me. I hit FD and let the raid slaughter him. I got the sleeves and was quite happy. I was using my Warlock Sleeves which are pretty lame now a days. Was a nice upgrade. Gnome died though. I didn't get flagged for factory. =(

It is nice to see all of this resist gear coming out of the planes. Adventurers that can successfully fight in the Planes probably do not need gear of this type, however, the high resists surely help out those that have not reached that level of fighting as of yet. This piece is especially useful in that you seldom find arm gear with good resists, unless of course you can tackle the heavy duty MOB's with regularity. This gear is especially useful to those that are just entering that phase of fighting where heavy duty resists become important.
