The Red Sash quest for monks involves killing Priest Amiaz, which is in the same room as the NPC that drops that ring. However, what made me feel like mentioning this here is the fact the the only other part needed for that quest drops in Najena. Not sure if the two have anything to do with each other, but so similar I felt I should bring it up. This NPC seems to be the PH for the Priest.
I have 3 of them atm, and with all the new patches it now can be used in Trade Skills...not sure which ones though. Sorry for all the extra posts...wish they would allow us to Delete them.
I have had this ring for upwards of 3 years now hoping that it has some use as it is magic and identifies as a Ring of Allegiance to Najena which means it has SOMETHING to do with a quest of some kind although it may be very broken.
off the Thaumaturgist on 3rd floor. Killed her 4 times, this dropped once (along with some better loot, including a nice necro range slot dagger). Also did get one off the human Shadowknight on 2nd floor, as noted in the itemd description.

No...I'm pretty sure it isn't a quest item. Even though it's remarkably like the derv ring (but even those are kept for the stats instead of turning in for xp). I would take it as a low level +ac ring. Remember, if you are pure (non-twinked), then this ring is great at the level needed to obtain with a group.
