syl ren mobs in umbral plains in the north western cave section leading to Tawro. no faction hits from these.
Just dropped from a Vas Ren Shaman.
also drops from a vas ren spiritward, and a vas ren gaurdian in The Twilight Sea

I've been farming htese for barbarian cultural for about 5 hours in twilight and so far got 4 and i've killed at least 100 mobs

Just dropped from a vas ren guardian...in the secret area, so the tunnel is open now

Yep, it seems there's now a cap over it... that's very easy to get stuck in. /bug and /petition have been sent, here's hoping that there's a solution soon, need s'more condensed ice!
Couldnt get in today either, very strange.

The hidden area is under the water down the long passage correct. If so I didn't see man Vas Rens in there.

This is absolutely the spot. Got 7 in one clear of the hidden area.
They may have recently been camped. Condensed ice is in high demand for both fletchers and barbarians for cultural smithing. I've cleared all vas ren from that area several times myself. Plus, I think most of the spawn points can randomly have any of the alien types, so after I clear vas ren I go ahead and kill the other types also.
Vas Rens drop these, more common in the hidden area. Can drop up to 4 at a time.
These also drop from the soldiers on the islands just NW of where you zone in, if you have a hard time getting to the 'secret' area to the North. Mobs are a little lower there and there are fewer adds if your level is an issue. They don't drop too often though. I've had one or two drop in a clearing of the two islands, or I've gone two or three clearings with none dropping. I think this would be a lot quicker with a mini AE group, or even AEing solo if you have the firepower for it. If you're just doing this for the fletching though, I'd suggest going with condensed shadows, as it seems to drop more frequently and from more mobs.

I didn't get it to drop from the grol Baku Soldier in Twilight - but a Vas Ren Soldier dropped 3.

The grol baku guardians and other aliens in the secret northern area of Twilight Sea (accessible via underwater tunnel) drop the condensed ice.
Looted one off of a Ves Ren Warder.

I just got one off a meeda hune soldier in Tenebrous Mountains. First one I've seen drop there in the last couple levels, though.
