From the posts i've read, people seem to be missing the best use for this item (aside from the stats of course, which are pretty nice, even well into EPs). Clickie effects don't look at the lapse time between spell casts, and Gather Shadows is Self Only, so if you have an Enchanter, Mage, or Necro who is using a charm pet, they can keep their pet targeted, click this item to break pet and follow immediately with a debuff or mez or recharm. If you've ever used a high level charmed pet you know that it's better to have a controlled break than an uncontrolled break. When I need to break my pet to redo debuffs i have to sit, mem imp invis, wait for it to come up, cast it, wait for spell gems to refresh, then i can finally repet... as opposed to with this clickie, where one could simply click and mez for debuffs or just repet immediately. Having this around saves you either 1 spell slot if you keep invis up at all times, or a sufficient amount of time, when time is frequently very valuable.
It's nice to have clickies. And I admit I have used this one a few times. But by the time you can wear this most classes have, or are about to get there improved invis. Mages, Enchanters and Wizzies get a 10min fixed duration invis and Necro's get a 20min ver. And lets face it if you need to be invis, don't you want to know it's going to last?
True, but how many of those classes have that invis up all the time?
This type of clicky is for the people that are runnin around and all of a sudden... "Doh need to go invis real quick here to avoid annoying agro." This is when using this clicky (which you don't even have to target) comes in handy... 3 seconds no sitting down, no scribing invis and no rescribing the old spell. This can definatly have its advantages.
I agree. There are plenty of times when I'll be running around, have to sit and give up a usable spell slot for invis, then remem my old spell. Having something like this would be a huge benefit.
At my level, I actually don't have a better item than this on my neck OR wrist, so this would be an upgrade either way. For those of us not Time-flagged, this item looks very very appealing.
Also, just FYI Gather Shadows seems to be a more reliable invis then Invisibility, which is all us poor mages get.
*edit* forgot about Veil of Elements, which I use quite a bit 'd'oh!'
by the time u get a chance at this bracer its completly up in the air.. wiz chanter necro mage.. just depends on what bracer items u have at that time.. all the stats work great for each class.. the effect is nice.. but trivial really is a toy at this venture... great for each..
Gather Shadows as a 3sec cast effect is also nice, I know for me it's nice to have 1 less spell to mem, and on certain raids it's nice to be able to quickly invis, no agro, to get in some quality med time. Also it being a neck wrist item makes it even more usefull as you can move it around if needed.
Nice item for any pure caster but I would say Necro or Enchanter and not because of charisma... Most enchanters I know already have both INT and CHA maxxed with little or no buffs.
That 100 extra hp is nice for necros and their lich line of spells and if anyone has ever played in a raid enviroment, you know that debuffs are casted relatively early in the fight, such as tash. This causes agro on the chanter and though the mobs hit MUCH harder then a measly 100hp, every little bit counts. hehe
I'm an ench but I tend not to agree with u, imo this bracer (If ya can take cursed down i doubt u'll wear it as a neck, good bracers much harder to find) can be wear by any of those 4 classes.
At this lvl the game int casters need hps for almost only 1 thing, AE's. And on a side note if ya take agro with tash on this fight u'll kill ur guild.
100 mana is more than nice on a bracer, wiz and mag will gladly use it trust me.
