As a Vah Shir BST I wouldn't mind having this bracer at all - at any lvl. I'm not in an ubah raiding guild, tho we do raid, but no matter what, it is tough finding bracers for BST's, especially one with decent stats like this one. That and being a skelly with a tiger pet would be kinda kewl. I won an illusion High Elf potion in an LDoN and you know, I make a very sexy High Elf BST - Female High Elf in LEATHER -- eat it up boys. /wink

Just got it tonight, and WOW, and at the level you get this you got some nice gear where you can sacrifice a few stats for more AC or even the illusion, and theres always something that can be upgraded, ive had crap beaclets forever, hard slot to shop for.
Dont know a class that wouldnt benifit from it, the skellie alone is a good toy

And it has 30 ac... tell me, have u ever actually been hit in the WRIST?! And why would a belt, ring, or earring have ac? And wouldnt a small cloth belt make a nice ogre necklace? And why does a small chainmail tunic take the same amount of metal rings as a large one? And why am I asking dumb questions about a video game to people I will never meet in RL instead of raking leaves for money or something?

Ya, it got upgraded to 70 HP/Mana, and cast time is reduced to 4.0 :)

Just looted one of these tonight. Skelly is cool!
And it is a bracelet of tiny bones.
Also it is 70 hp/mana not 25. Least magelo has it right.

while the stats arn't great for the lvl you get it
the stats + resists + massive AC AND the illusion (toys are fun) make this a great item

Anyone know how KOS skellies are? I think their indif in the old world, but not sure about kunark, velious or luclin (though I'd bet you'd be kos in velious and luclin, ok in kunark). Would be interesting to see a skellie banking in the Overthere.
If an item has an effect (say in this case Illusion: Skeleton) and a recommend level (60) do you need to be of this level (60) before you can activate the effect?
Not necessarily. They're seperate flags on the item.

Posted: Jul 01 2002 at 9:10 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Not impressive stats imo... hp is what matters for tanks, most times when you are at this level in the game the ac would be just something to look at, and not really do anything, stats are reasonable, but casters will have maxed wis/int and the melee with have primal + maxed stamina...

There just a bunch of bixie bones strung together on a rubber band. Kinda like the candy necklaces we all ate when we were kids. Thats why they fit everyone.
Did you know that ogres have thin, delicate, woman-like wrists? They're very dainty.
If they did their wrists would snap when they punched people. =O

this will go to people based on the illusion. there is a BIG thing about ogres and the area they take up even when shrunk and smalls not being able to see. See the old world planar drop with the same effect.

That is one SICK bracer. 30ac 7 to ALL stats, 25hp/mana... dang man... if anyone says monk bracer ima slap you! Thats good for any class heh
Yes it isnt that bad of a braclet but by the level you can get it its worthless.....its just there to have fun in my IMHO... but none the less i wouldnt mind roling for this =) And seeing a skellie weilding Warrior Epics doesnt look that bad =)

i would agree that its heavier than most but then the Str+7 overcomes the weight issue. not by much but enough that even a monk would enjoy this....at least for a little while hehe.
I must agree, and the illusion skeleton, while not necessary, is great to impress people with =)
Also, I think there should be a new mob in Beholders, tiny evil eyes, that this drops off. It just makes sense.
