It looks like the validus custodus longsword.....only is a heck of alot better. Finnally got mine last night. Lvl 40 ATM and i got most of the peices for this and other bravado peices in the bazaar. People don't seem to sell the marks, medals, or jewels for very much and saves time camping all the mobs. Sword if very nice. I have it in off hand with veno axe in primary and does a nice job. I currently have various Validus Custodus armor, Lambent armor, and Bravado armor....which i'm proud to say i did myself ;)...now i only i can get that damn glorious flower hehehe

Im tired of everyone saying that this armor isnt much better then Lambent, my thought is its quite a bit better, first off you dont have to spend a cent to buy gems(granted gems drop off mobs, but not at 30), second the twilight armor fills ALL armor slots AND has a wep lastly the stat boosts this armor gives is way above Lambent, check it out: Full suit of Twilight:------Full suit of Lambent: AC-139---------------------AC-98 Str-56----------------------Str-8 Dex-18---------------------Dex-5 Cha-46---------------------Cha-10 HP-116---------------------Sta-5 save vs. Mag-5------------Int-5 save vs. fire-6-------------Agi-5 save vs. cold-5------------save vs. all-4 save vs. dis-5 save vs. pos-5
Yeah Ill admit the Lambent is a whole lot easier to get, but to tell you the truth it should be, just look and compare and stop DISin this armor, its alot better then Lambent. The only thing that sucks about it is that its just a bit too hard to get for what it is, I think Verant should add either a bit more ac to the whole suit or more resistance(personaly I would vote for resistance since Im on Vallon Zek :P)
Hmm. I think you're comparing all Twilight pieces with all Lambent pieces, full sets. If you want a real comparison of the relative strengths of the armor, you should compare only those pieces that exist in both sets. I.e. Breastplate, Greaves, Vambraces, Bracers, Gauntlets, Boots, and Helm. Otherwise, you're adding a bunch of AC and stats for pieces that do not exist in Lambent, which isn't really fair to Lambent.
Here's the stats for Bravado armor that matches with the pieces that exist for Lambent:
Bravado AC 98 STR 30 DEX 10 CHA 26 SvF 5 SvM 3 SvC 4 SvD 1 HP 93
So, same AC, slightly less resistances overall, but better stats and hitpoints. I would say this is 'better' than Lambent, but not 'a lot' better.
Although you have probably forgotten all about this post by know, Im gonna respond anyway. I think the point of his post was to say that this armore is "a lot better" because it fills more slots, so although single or few peices are a almost close to equal, Bravado's is better because the more peices offer better stats with a full set, so your statement of "you should compare only those pieces that exist in both sets. I.e. Breastplate, Greaves, Vambraces, Bracers, Gauntlets, Boots, and Helm" goes agains the main theme of the origonal post. I realize im not makin much sence and talkin in circles and stuff, so youll have to forgive me =)
Honestly if you get a full set of lambent and have the open slots you can get items from other sets and make your stats even better, noone said you had to have all of one set, if one of the items is an upgrade to what you have and if you want it then go for it, otherwise dont waste your time, completing a quest is FUN anyone who has ever worked hard to do a quest knows it =) if you wanna be cool and have the whole set then go for it hehe but be warned. it will take forever and really isnt worth it
Don't know the weap thst queendrachnia drops in cc, and my bards isn't up to this lvl it's of no concern to me but considering the +8 str the weap actually has a weight of -5 so not bad at all. Ofcourse dthis effect is cancelled if the CC weap does not have additional str. :-)
