We could use someone's modern experience hunting the NPC for this drop.
We need a modern item window pic of this item.
We know this has a red pulsing graphic, would still be nice to have a shot of someone wielding it.

Here is an updated Item info window for this, as well as graphic on a monk.
The mob is still in Frontier mountains in the Goblin caves near the Burning Woods Zone line side of the zone. Chief Rokgus spawns in one place always, there are PH's. He has parts for multiple quest lines out of Cabilis. at lv 51 he is Light blue. and if you deal with all the adds in the room first, his is a simple fight. The room is the middle room of the caves, being the north room has the Traitor, the south room has the 2 slaves, Rokgus is in the middle room. Best approximate /loc for Chief Rukgus spawn point is /loc : -1810, +1760, -376.

does some know if there is another one hand blunt weapon that gives the same pulsating effect as the essence.i have a monk charactet that has an essence and is looking for something to match
Delightful orb of forgotten magic has similar graphic, but if you are using essence of dol, I doubt its in your price range.
Well, there are a lot of monk weapons with this effect. I believe any weapon that starts with 'Fist' , such as Fist of Rock, has the same graphic, the red pulsating thing. A few of the higher end items have this as well, but I assume you're looking for something tradable.

Shoot, I just noticed you said 1 hand blunt, now that you mention it, no I dont think so, they are all h2h weaps. This was around before h2h weapons existed really, so it was flagged as 1hb.

Actully the Orb of Tishan has the same particle and is 1hb , though not monk usable

My policy in EQ has always been to help other monks in need, so i too passed on my Essence of dol, fighting batons, CoT and even my wu armor on to another monk in FoB outside cabilis one day, after i finally got into a guild where i felt home and started to get better gear.
These items are really no value these days, so if i get by one i usually get it very cheap and i kinda like giving it to a newbie monk, most get extremely happy.
But again the player has to be a "genuine" newbie, not a twink, that can be found out in the way the person talks really, and i hate when the twinks try to beg stuff off me, they should go buy their frigging gear, true noobs have better need.

These go for around 100pp now. I got one then not 20 minutes later some guy trade me a Polished Steel Ulak 9 dmg 27 dly 3 ac 3 str 3 wis 25 mana and other stats for my EOD. The PSU is HTH so that helps my hth attack considering at my level its like 5 dmg 36 dly or something to that effect. Anyway...the EOD is a very good weapon up until the Fighting Baton or COT can be aquired. =)
Can Beastlords equip this now? I'm not sure but i thought i saw they could when i checked last night in GFay

This weapon looks uber. This is enough reason for me to choose it over fighting baton right there, not to mention lower weight and dex bonus.
