Oh forgot too mention, killing the Great Oowomp does not lower faction with anything unless I was suffereing a severe bug. Killing the raiders of course lowers the faction though, keep the one spawn in the building Oowomp spawns at stunned prevented me from losing faction that way.

Camped the Great boredom today for 3 hours looking for the chipped bone braclet but it was never dropped, got a lot of Fine steel and booze. I guess I'd drink alot of booze too if I looked as ugly as that. Anyway, what Oowomp dropped that interested me was the earing can't remember the name at the moment though. +5 int and + something else, can't remember only important thing was the int.

My group and I just got one last night at the Ogre camp in Western Karana. This is the camp with Chief Goonda near the monolith and surrounded by Ogre Guards, Ogre Shamans(shamaness), and Ogre Priestesses. The collar did not drop off of Goonda directly. It dropped off of one of the Ogre Guards placed around him.
I have hunted here many times before, and the drops of the items at this camp are all random. Any one of the items(Bat Skull Earring, Chipped Bone Bracelet, Chipped Bone Collar, and a bunch others) can drop off of any one the Ogres. There is a higher percentage for them to drop off Goonda or the Ogre Priestesses or Shaman(ess), but I have gotten more than one of each item dropped in this camp and only two drops have ever been off Goonda himself.
So, kiss your faction towards Rallos Zek goodbye and kill all the ogres in the camp if you want any of these items. Also, the drops are rare, so, unless you're lucky, you will be here for awhile.

Yes it is gotten near Chief Goonda in Wk. the shamans that protect him drop it and the Glowing bone collar ac 5 adds 25 mana and hp much better

I've had my chipped bone collar for some time. I don't remember how EXACTLY i got it, but i remember the general details. I looted it off a gnoll corpse (or possibly a splitpaw) in BlackBurrow. yes, i'm sure about that part. It wasnt my kill, it was a body left behind. Hope this info helps anyone.
When something like that happens, it usually means that some mischievous player has given the creature the item (which was of course then dropped when the monster was killed). I guess they do it as a joke? I know one guy who found a SS of Ykesha and an AC 17 shield on an orc lego in Crushbone! The lucky *******...

The Great Oowamp is a ogre chief, but not in Karana. Oowamp is in fact on ogre island in The Timorous Deep, reached by the barge from The oasis of Marr. He spawns in the center of the ogre village near the docks where the boat to the Overthere comes in. Casters seem to enjoy soloing him, but not for the collar, so he must carry something else of import. The caster camping him will usually give away the collar and the Fine Steel that he drops to anyone who asks.

According to Everlore, this item can be found on Chief Goonda (approx. 34th Ogre Shaman) at the Ogre camp [loc. unknown (sorry)] in West Karana.

I found him, and it's not Chief Goonda but rather 'The Great Oowamp'. It's a very common spawn, coming up every 6-10 minutes. Again, happy hunting!

Hehe .. All you people arguing about where the Chipped Bone Collar drops. You are all correct. Chief Goonda and The Great Oowamp are almost the same mob. In fact, the camps in West Karana (Goonda) and Timorous Deep (Oowamp) have the same layout and work in the same way, with the exception that Oowamp wont attack you unless the other Ogres do, but Goona will be on your butt like flies on crap. Both mobs drop the same equipment.
