Shadows of LuclinLooted this Oct. 12th from a Grimling Priest corpse in Grimling Forest while assisting a BeastLord friend during his epic event (same guy that dropped the Copper Medal for the BL Epic).
As of May 5th 2003, this stave now has plus 5 INT and plus 5 WIS.
Replaced my Barnacle Covered Trucheon with this. Great for occassionally swinging on a fear kited mob to get 1hb skill maxed.

Can we say Resist Gear? As a Cleric I really don't intend to jump up from medding and melee Naggy or Vox. On the other hand...having some decent fire and cold resists, PLUS the 45 extra mana sure doesn't hurt...
And of COURSE Verant will make this 1HB on the next patch. We've all seen the evidence that a vast majority of the folks writing item descriptions couldn't spell their way out of a wet paper bag. What makes you think that they're immune from mistakenly typing 1HS instead of 1HB?

When they made this "Stave" 1HS that is obviously a bug. Either that or it is a really sharp edged staff.

While the posts are right that only ONE class can use 1 HS, Druids, even they can only use SIMITARS! They can not use any other 1 HS. Also, anyone notic this is NOT magic, what can you hit with it? I think this is for something more. LORE so you can only have one, NO DROP like most quest items. Maybe.....?

To be honest there are many 1hs weapons that arent scimitars that a druid can use.. There are 2 types of claws. icepaw being the only one I can think of at the moment, 2 or 3 whips also. There is also the ever sweet Falcion of flowing water.
Actually there is a pair of Claws that are DRU usable also. Anything with 1hs and DRU on it, we can use. Doesn't matter if its a scimitar.
Actually, there are also two whips that are druid-usable, a Frenzied Gnawer Tail from Kaesora, and Vluudeen's Tail from Great Divide.

it looks like this being 1hs is a mistake, all of the classes listed can raise 1hb but only 1 can raise 1hs (as previously stated) and a stave, by definition, is a staff or cudgel, so i'd bet this will be corrected in a future patch.

Strange that of all the classes that can equip this none of them get a damage bonus. That's generally melee's only. Unless I am mistaken.

Aye, any of the classes can use it, but only druids can ever gain skill in 1hs (unless it was an oversight by Verant and will eventually be corrected to 1hb, but I doubt that...after all, it IS called a Small TWISTED Stave).

Piece of advice Loreli, never make statements about things you don't know, any item can be equipped by the listed classes even if that class doesn't have the skill to use it effectively. Granted a mage using it will never get a skill up in 1hs, but he could stick it in his hand. If you want to see a demonstration of this start a barian shaman, there is a axe that can be bought off the weapon vendor in halas (hand axe or just axe I think it is, been a while) that a shaman can use, and this axe is... you guessed it 1hs. There is even a piercing weapon in Echo Caverns that can be used by monks... I know because I grouped with a retarded monk that took an hour to convince that this nifty spear was not superior to his fighting baton. So before you start making definative statements about what is and isn't possible perhaps you should check a bit... saves looking this stupid.
It really was unneccesary to be such a jerk. All you had to do was to correct the mistaken error with your anecdotal evidence. No need to disparage anyone, especially when you're unable to use punctuation properly :)

Not ture. I have a 2hs weopon on my Necromancer and he can equip it just fine eventhough he does not have the 2hs skill. The thing is if you do equip a weopon that you have no skill in for instance this weopon your skill at it would be less than awful so you would rarely hit your mob unless it's a serious greeny to you. To prove this point as well as far as magic goes, you can cast all types of spells as a SK, Pally, BST, or RGR once you hit level 9, and you don't have to learn the spell casting skills at your guild. You fizzle 9 out of 10 spells if you do it this way but point is you do not need the actual skill itself to use the spells. This would be the same for this weopon. It is usable by the classes shown just druids would be hitting the mob a lot more than say the other classes listed.
