these are very nice arms for a mage, better than gator scale, same int, less HP and over all better stats, face it if your a mage you dont need HPs anyway

I swear I never heard so much wineing before. If you don't like the rewards from a quest then just simply don't do them. This would be some good stuff to twink out an alt or a low lvl guildie. Some people tink that the lump inbetween their sholders is just a hat rack =P

this is OK, not bad, not good, the 4 int is fairly nice for sleeves, the gatorscale are 4 int also and the other stats are just a nice, small, bonus, for a lvl 40 mage who is a main/only charater it is nice

Must agree with SeventhSun on this one. I have a lvl 35 mage and this gear is pretty speccie compared to what she is wearing... doing the quests is fun and some of us aren't out for the UBER gear just for the fun of the game. Each to their own I say, but I shall be doing the quests for this gear, that is for sure. :)

I would have to agree that a 'sucker' did this quest. You say he spent no money on it. Quite frankly in the time it takes to quest this item I can farm over 10k pp from hill giants, buy an item better than this for less than 5k , and still have more than 5k left over. Not spending money is only half the story. You also have to add in what you could have made in the time you are questing. BTW Luclin mobs don't give good cash at all ! God people like you make me sick !

who gives a crap? this item is UTTER ****** it will never be completed by any other mage in the history of EQ EVER AGAIN! man I really feel sorry for the sucker that did it first.. :(

ok Personally I am doign this quest right, now, some of us get more from completing a quest our selfs and the thrill of the hunt for the item, then making uber phat lewts. Geez anyone ever heard of RPG, you know that think this whole game is based around. get over it, u don't like it leave, for those of us that do.

The "sucker" who did it first likely didn't pay a single copper for any of these items, so, for that "sucker" these sleeves were FREE. How you can argue with FREE armor I may never know. I'd love to zap you back to the days of beta when rawhide armor was THE armor, when fine steel weapons were god weapons... God, people like you make me sick.

What if the mage has worst? or what if he wants to twink a friend? At level 45 i see why people complain BUT you have to look beyond the lines...
