I got several of these while fighting Gunthak Swabbies on the northeasternmost island. They can be turned in for 132 tribute each.

This drops from the Gunthak Swabbies / Gunthak Pirates you find on the second island east northeast from the Ogre island.

apply poison failure rates are low enough that 1 percent would practically NEVER make a difference, if only it were higher percentage and MAKE poison...

Theres a sort of shanty town of sunken ships in TD full of Gunthak pirates that no one ever kills. More than likely, they drop this stuff.

I would like to know what these drop off of. Or are they sold off a vendor like the FR earings in Lava? This would make a nice little piece of resist gear for PR mobs.

They drop off of Fallen Deckhands. From what I can tell, these are farely new mobs (within the past 2 years) added to the zone. They are just skeletons that sit on each of the islands. There are a few singles on the mounting on the island from Butcherblock.

There is a task related to these called "A Fallen Deckhand". Don't try to break the double camps by yourself if you are not twinked. The singles on the mountain are much easier to handle. I usually pull from around -4125, -5417.

I don't think this to be that bad of an item, think about it.. trival is at 109 for the poison you want, and you got 108. Boom, 1% pushes you enough to sucessfully do it.. (Hoping that 5% Failure Chance doesn't nip yer butt)
