With all the expansions out, there is no reason this item should be going for 9-10k. In bazaar right now for 9k... There is much easier things to get in OOW.

Have you ever tried to get a good droppable face-item for a monk? This is one :-)
This toy goes on Luclin-Server for 18-20k and its sold really fast.
I am trying to get one for 4 weeks now and I haven´t seen one in bazaar.

What about this item makes it worth even more than 2-3k? I understand that it drops in UP and there is no good face slot items, but i mean come on. The mob that drops this isnt even hard.

This mask is worth more than 2-3k yes. Nice AC and stat if this have good HP expect for more. Raldukan is easy to kill but Mask is close to ultra rare drop not less. Plus no level requirement. Level 58-60 in Umbral I only have one mask drop from him and countless Raldukan kiled. Finally sold my mask for 20k offer and yes I have see them sell for as low as 5k but not 2-3k.

This dropped last night on Luclin while New Elements of Power was mini-raiding. I won the roll and I am quite ecstatic about it. I will have this for a long, long time :-)
The prices listed here that are under 10k are amazing. I have seen only two for sale in the past few weeks on Xev, and each have been about 25-30k. I am not willing to pay that much at this point, but perhaps some people are. I must admit that finding a good face slot item for my wood elf rogue is not easy, and this was my first choice. Perhaps I will just wait for the (quite inferior) Hooligan's Mask. *sigh*

granted this might just be one of the top 4 or 5 masks for a melee of any sort, but yeah... 5 sta and 25hp can benifit ANYONE.. even that lowly chanter that dies 4-10 times every raid night.

Aye, everyone can benefit from more HP. I would suggest crystal spider eyes for casters, though, since it has INT/WIS and 35 hp. Casters get around 3 hp per stamina so this would give more HP at level 60, but only 5 by. A melee would get 50 HP out of this.
I spent 13k and a Mushroom Veil (Prexus server) on this mask. Yeah, it's a lot for a mask, but not very many are out there, and the stats are very, very nice. If you have the money and are in need of a new mask, buy this one, its a beauty.

I was in a pick up group in Umbral the other night and luckily won the roll on this bad boy. I have already had several people offer me really nice trades for it but I think I will stick with this.

We killed alot of things that night but I am almost 100% sure that it dropped off of A Gantru Raldukan. This was the only piece of armor that dropped off of the Raldukans the entire time that we were there.

confirmed that a Gantru Raldukan dropped this. Its got at least double the HP of the normal Moktor warriors we were fighting. Tough guy but not bad if you can slow him.

In my humble opinion, a Crystal Spider Eyes would be better for casters. At least one would think (more mana, more hp and more Wis/Int then this at the price of a few AC).
Edit: Forgot Death Mask of the Elysians, so taht's two masks better then this for a pure caster.

No Int, no Wis. No mana, no mana effects. This would go to a caster only for cash loot purposes, any caster of the level to get this item should have one or two of the many items that do include the above stats. This isnt a flame, its just to point out that, no, this isnt really a good mask for a caster. It would go to one of the tanks present, or be sold as cash loot.

You know...it never ceases to amaze me how much stuff I "should" have for my 55th level that I don't have. Must be nice to be in that club that instantly gets stuff given to them or those in a loot centric guild.

Look, what I'm saying is this. Even PLAYER CRAFTED veils, availiable long before this item, would supply needed wisdom, or intelligence. Even from a resists standpoint, again, player crafted items will rank in superior when fufilling a casters needs.And you, as a caster are not making wise decisions if you dont have an item such as those by the time you reach, oh, say,..55
Maybe you arent aware that past a certain point, AC, STR, DEX, STA, AGIL are considered tank/melee stats, and WIS/INT/CHA are considered caster stats. And loot centric seems to be a convenient insult till you realize that hey, in this game the quality and strength of your gear does give you, and your guild a signifigant advantage in PvE encounters. And if your regular groups arent seeing to the needs of the casters and tanks, well then, time to ditch the noobs, find some quality playmates i suppose. Cheers flamer, it was a nice try.

Why do you think 50 AC robes drop for casters?!?
Casters need to get their hps up as well, they take some damage too once in awhile. Kind of hard to avoid AE on a rooted mob.
If your capped or close, why not trade some of that in for some sta/hp/agi gear?

I agree, my necro has plenty of int but I would love this for the hp and sta it would bring him.
LMAO!! AC wont save you from AE, you dork! Resists gears do!
AC is more for reducing and absorving melee dmg.

If there's a tank in need of a better face peice, why the hell would any group in their right minds give it to a caster who's just trying to get some item he'll use maybe 10%of the time? And how many actual AC50 robes are out there? 3 or 4 that I know of over AC40. Also, do a search for melee face armor over ac10 that is wearable by leather and chain classes. Not too much out there that doesnt drop off 63+ multi-group raid mobs. And for pointing this out, I'll no doubt get called a gimp or something else equally as clever. yay.
