Ported into CT and started killing the spiders as my goal was to get the Jungle Spider Fur Cap. Got it after like 2 hours. The next mob we took down was Dreadfang and got the hide. A good day in CT =)
i see people ask again so i will post some personal experience about Dreadfang. When u take wiz port in CT, Dreadfang and his PH spawn in the hall way directly against the wall. PH is frenzied, Dreadfang flurries, slowable but have couple times it resist slow after debuff; dont have much more hp than PH's, drop hide most the time, havn't seen mask in 4drops.
these are not nodrop on my server but they are reccomended lvl of 51, they go for about 15-25k on my server, almost bought a pair for 8k the other day but I didnt, wish I had now

The best stat on this, imo, is the health. It's very difficult to find good caster health leggings. This is far far better than the astral leggings of the titans at the level to obtain.
with high end gear comes maxed int and chr for an enchanter. Even if these were neg 3 charisma I would still want them. You see, its the AC HP that makes them nice. Granted I don't do much tanking in ToV or any place like that. But I get smashed around in places like chardok, acrylia caverns, and other mez intensive places. If a chanter is taking hits, there are a lot of mobs or the shammy went down and chanter needs to slow. If any other class is taking hits your expadition is over anyway or the other class over nuked. 3 int, 3 chr really has no bearing in the level of game these legs begin to drop. The ac and hp however are spectacular.
As a side note I am a 60 chanter and more then anything else the HP matter.. I have some 200+int 150chr unbuffed. but also I have 1914hp unbuffed. Thats alot of hp gear to get up from 881 base hp's. Now what happens when I get beat on is I survive when a person without hp gear wouldnt. Here the theory on HP broken down. In the high end game HP > all. Every stat in the game is caped be it int/wis/chr/str including AC. AC for plate classes is soft caped at 1300(or abouts) that means for each 10 ac over 1300 you only get the benifit of 1ac. Now granted more ac the better but high hp gear is greater then the AC for the highend. Now you take the chardok earing negative-15ac +8(?)sta +75hp. Why would a take where that people ask...becuse it has the equivialte of over 100hp's. If each item you gear up with has hp be it 20hp/30/50/100 then adventualy your going to have a very large hp pool. I hit 3500hp in a normal group to group basis. The stats on the end game come down to raw hp / raw mana. The Sta/attak/str all the other stats are caped meaning adventually you will hit the hard cap and then what are you looking at. The hp in group to group basis will save you more then any other stat. I have some 650ac unbuffed with 2150 hp self buffed meaning that as a chanter I am quite a tank for all the beating we get. These help on the AE mobs, the high hiters in CT and on raids if I have agro I was doing something wrong in the first place. So thats how I see it on the whole HP issue.../rant off
Personally i'd pass up my roll for an enchanter to snag these. Although the 3 charisma isn't a huge amount, every bit helps. And lets face it, chanters are very important to keep alive :) So that substantial amount of AC & HP is much better put to use on a chanters legs than the other int casters imo.
Although I agree with you, that chanters have to kept alive, a nec depends also on his/her HP. How could his mana-machine work without a decent amount of hp? Sure, the AC isnĀ“t as much important to a nec than to an enc, but this is quite a nice upgrade for every nec, too.
As a mage I am looking for hp items so I can do some serious Trodding and try to get as much mana out of a cleric's CH. I would roll for these and my guild would let me.
