One dropped yesterday and by default I won it because I was the only beastlors in the raid. It is a nice weapon to have.
/sigh i always hate seeing something like this rot! Last night my guild Vanguard of Morell on Bristlebane had to let this beauty rot. Only bst we had in raid had one and the others were not online=/ sad sad thing to see=/

Got this today thanks to some very nice people who didn't have a bst in their raid force.
At the moment I'm wielding this with a Waning Light Katar offhand. With this combo, I am seriously thinking of not doing my epics. Yes they have nice haste, and yes one of them has a decent slow proc. But with these weapons all I really need is some good haste and I'm set!
My ranger on the other hand has his epic and loves it. Which is the other reason my Bst won't get his. I think it's sad that the bst epics are just a rip off of the ranger ones. Imho, the bst epic really should have been more about boosting our pet, that way at least our epic wouldn't be made worthless by the new PoP weapons and high-end Luclin stuff.

The Beast Lord epic is so easy thatany beast that does not do it.....well...should...lol. Kill some mobs a Scout spawns for you and then get some easy random items from some zones. I had a 65 shaman or a 65 mage solo most of my Scout mobs and one group to do the last 2 fights....took me a week to do only cuz all the Scouts were not up. When i duel wield i use epic in offhand..41% haste and +30 attack are nice...hands down... and unless you are an alt of someone high in ranks in an uber raiding guild you are probably not gonna see better before 60....probably even 65(i said PROBABLY all you flamers!). I only use epic in primary when i am soloing and will not use it ..well probably never after i reach 60 cuz i think our slow gets better...or close to the same...as the slow on our epic proc.

There is a difference between recommended level and required level. If you are not of recommended level yet you will suffer stat penalties on the item. If you are not of the required level you cant equip it. Some items have recommended level and some have required level. Some items have both. For example required level 46 and recommended level 60. You will be able to equip such an item at 46 but not get the full benefit from it until you reach 60.

Very glad to see some really sweet BST only items put into play. Most get shared with monks, so they never even get a chance. Way to go, anyone who was lucky enough to get this, even post-epic.

It can be equiped...just all teh stats will be next to nothing till the toon is lvl 58

Unfortunatly this item can not be equiped if not level 58, see Beastlord board. People are complaining about that. I recall Verant said its a recommendation and is not enforced, but it seems they turned on the flat on this item.

I too thought this may be the Epic, because of the name (Savage Lord is a lvl 60 BST, btw.. there's at least one on Xegony that I've seen personally). I can't imagine the Epic being better quality than this, though.
