I was in the named hall beside SoL with a group when three people (Druid, Mage, and Chanter) went in and tried SoL. He dropped the Orb, Wand, and Dagger.
No one in their three needed the Wand, and I was the only person in the vicinity who could equip it.

Got him down last night, he dropped the dagger and the wand, lucky me, I got the wand! :D Well worth it for a 59 enchanter.

Downed a couple days ago by a druid, a warrior, an SK, and a beastlord. We're not yet a PoTime guild, and there was one death in group. Dropped wand, dagger, and one other thing (I think).

x2 dropped for our guild last evening. 18 people - avg level 62 - the mob was pretty easy. The mobs on the way to him are cake and it's a LOT of fun watching all of your friends be turned into all the different creatures that inhabit the world :) My favorite was our MA looking like a naked female troll lol

We killed the Servitor last night, and he dropped 2!! of these. I was allowed to roll for the second even though I am a probatory member, and I have to say I love it lots.

Posted: Apr 15 2003 at 3:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This fooking thing never drops. We have taken out servitor at LEAST 10 times and have not seen this once. The mask is very common, the dagger is very common, the claidmore is less common, this f00king wand is non-existant.
Out of 4 kills he dropped 4 of these and 4 of the Claidhmores for us.

I've had this Wand for about 4 months now, and my epic for maybe 3.
When do I equip my epic?
a) When I need resists
b) When I may need to click the epic frequently (Seb AE if I'm making long pulls)
c) When I want to say "Hey, look, I'm an epic wizard" Like when I get people hailing me and asking me for C3.
Ya know, I STILL get asked for C3 with /roleplay off, my epic in hand, my pink Vermillion Robe, Flappy at my side and the surname "Balefire"??? /boggle

Its almost as bad as people asking me with my earth pet up for a port, then for crack. Too bad I will never get my epic, the good team on SZ just isnt set up/ motivated to get mages epics.

That's OK, I have Swiftwind in my off-hand. Pretty disitnctive weapon, been around since after Kunark...and I get asked by a level 50+ warrior what class I am.
Nice wand, would love one for my wizard, espescially since she doesn't have epic.
Heh, I was once standing with two other enchanters, none of us were anon and we all had epic. A warrior comes up and proceeds to beg each of us for a punt to bind.

Very nice. Got mine tonite. Servitor killed 5 of us, 24 at the raid. His poison dot is what killed us (that and he doesnt like CH :P), its fast and its painful, but hey if you dont get aggro you dont die cause it's not aoe. Was our first time and I overnuked :P.
Total fight took about 4-5 min. Out of 24, 16 of us were 60, rest 55+. MA in full SS armor.
Anyone that doesn't think this thing is exceptional is jaded, plain and simple. I havent even started epic yet cause my wizzie is 2boxed, chanter is my main. Even when i eventually get wiz epic, id switch out once i clicked my shield and use this FT. Unless I have FT 15 already by then, I'm at FT 5 with this now. Self/chanter buffed I regen at 22 a tick. Startin to feel a little like a necro :P.

Yes, and No. Its Situational, I would use this item when Soloing, Click Epic before pull, Equip this fine wand, and do my killing. I would have +4 Mana regen with Epic, and not lose any +mana, my INT is far over the cap so the +5 Int loss doesnt matter.. but then again, on a raid, I would always have Epic Equiped unless we are not pulling and just medding. the Resists on Epic are very nice for raids and such. Just my Opinion, Flame if you like.
Wizards can equip this while experience grinding after casting the effect on their epic for yet another mana per tic of regen. Yeah epic is better in everyway, but you don't need all those stats off of it all the time... This is still a nice utility item for an epic wizard.

/startrumor This item has serious detrimental effects on the Channeling skill for Mages, Wizards and has a hidden effect on Enchanter Charisma that lowers it by 300.
Seriously though, this is a sweet item for any intelligence caster. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't all caster epics primary only? If it had an Alteration effect like the mask, I would say hell no to Wizards, but until it does it should be fair game.

epic soooo much better... stats and the effect.. 700 an some hp rune + mana regen... the mana regen on the wiz epic is 3 per tick so its far better than this items FT1.. but it is a nice item until you get epic..
yea but this is FT1 (worn) so click epic switch to this item lose 5int big deal should be over the cap by then anyway.. and wah la perfect for a wiz unless your battling ae mob..
