You must have bought your 51 beastlord and just tried it out for a couple minutes ehrek because I can guarantee that you've never played one. I quote you as saying ",,, you just lost half you hp.. ". Perhaps you meant to say ",,, I just lost half my hp.. ". I know darn well I'm not gonna lose a single hp unless I intend to step up and fight along side my warder. And I don't exactly have my complimentary 57 warrior around either BTW.

I have a 51 Beastlord on Fennin Ro. I never have a problem with my pet pulling the agro off me when I want him to. As long as I am using the highest pet Proc Buff and the Pet Haste/Str Buff.
I pull with SLOW when soloing while I have SOW. Run back to Pet on Guard, usually getting there in time to cast another DEBUFF on the MoB as it hits casting Range and click Pet Attack a moment before it gets to me. Not once has any mob come after me instead of the pet.
Only time I have a problem with too much Aggro is if I let the Proc wear off the pet or I hit with too many of my Procs of my Black Bladed Ulak or Claws (10/23 25dd proc ones forget name atm). Or if I nuke too many times. Though I hardly ever nuke when soloing. I just pop claws and kick their ***** with my pet for a while, then sit back and let pet tank when mob gets about half way down. I can kill probably 10 dark blues in a row before needing to take a serious med break.
AC allows me to tank longer, which conserves my mana, HP and pet.

yeah AC is important but there is more ways than 1 to play bst , you can Chose to be melee type and adapt your playing after that or a relaxed casting type and adapt after that , that means let pet BUILD aggro before slow ETC .. isent that hard to figureout if you played bst for a while..

Not too mention there is no Lvl Limit on when
you can get the Armor. I have gotten Thurg Armor
on my Rogue at lvl 11. And On my Beastlord
at lvl 12. So all in all, If you have the armor
sitting in the bank, All you need is the factions and you can have pretty decent Armor for your BL
at any lvl.

as you may or may not know, this is thurgadin armor, as all calsses have. thrug armor is quite easy to get, and therefore it isn't the hardest out of all the quest.. so they didn't make amazing stats. look at any other class' thrug armor and you won't be amazed
sad sad sad..i got a nice ac13 plus str and wisdom and some others sleeves when i had my beastlord at level 13...now why would i want to attempt these pieces of %#@% at level 45+ when i already have better from my newb armor quests..what a shame..sigh verant

I am trying to figure out why people who can afford to twink the hell out of a character with better than this come here and whine about this stuff? You got better, move on. No need to whine about this stuff if you won't use it.

because a whole suit of THIS not only looks original, but gives out a better bunch of stats/resists...
Stop ******** about risk vs. reward, go to Maiden's Eye, loot some NO DROP item you shouldn't have till you're 45+ and tell me that you DESERVE it...
AC for a beastlord will be REAL important in a group I bet... cause I'm sure you'll be doing all the tanking eh?... at this point, you'll be doing more group/raids where resists are more important, and you'll be getting buffed anyway...

Oh yeah the resists on these are real good haha I would rather have the druids arms which upon checking all the arms for each class is the worst stats but at least ya get a little wis and mana THE most important stats for a beastlord. Trust me if you are with a descent group you can time your slows and what not to get little or no aggro and can spend your mana on the pet and group buffs.

thurg armor is not meant to be the best out there. as a matter of faction most of it sucks, so if you don't like it, then don't roll to get it, cuase I'm sure there is somone that would like this.
