Visage of the Daft Trickster  

 

Like the other Sunrise quests, this is an "old school" style quest...so there's nothing that shows up in your task window.

While he's playing you will see him make emote the following message occasionally
Postmaster Aric Songfairer radiates with pride as he sings of the 'League of Antonican Bards'.

Talking to him about it yields the following
You say, 'Who are the League of Antonican Bards?'
Postmaster Aric Songfairer says 'The League of Antonican Bards, the heart of communication within our world! Without The League I am sure Norrathians would find themselves wandering through an age without knowledge of any current events. Why we can just look to the good people of Sanctus Seru for an example of mass ignorance...' He sighs, 'Better than bore you with anecdotes, how about I put you to the test? Are you up for a simple [challenge]?'
You say, 'I am up for the challenge.'
Postmaster Aric Songfairer says 'Excellent, a simple but effective test of your dedication to the free exchange of information. Scattered among Antonica and Faydwer are a number of couriers and their respective informants. Travel through these lands and deliver, let's say, 18 unique pieces of mail. If you can complete this challenge, return to me and I shall bestow upon you a reward fitting of one who would undertake such an arduous task.'

If he's not on stage and you've just started the task, hailing him yields (he tells you how many deliveries you've made)

After completing the first delivery you get the message (the message will increment each time you complete a different delivery) in yellow
Mail Delivery Challenge: You are one step closer to earning the respect of the League of Antonican Bards! You have delivered 1 out of 18 pieces of mail!

If you go and complete the same one again, you will get the following message instead, in red
Mail Delivery Challenge: You have already delivered this bit of mail.

One you finish all 18 delivers, you'll get the following message
Mail Delivery Challenge: You have successfully delivered 18 pieces of mail! Return to Sunrise Hills and speak with Postmaster Aric Songfairer.

When you return to Postmaster Aric Songfairer, he will say the following:
You say, 'Hail, Postmaster Aric Songfairer
Postmaster Aric Songfairer looks at you curiously before reviewing the small scroll in his hand, 'Well, I did not think it possible, but you have completed the challenge set out before you! As such, you have earned the respect if not the admiration of the League of Antonican Bards and I shall now bestow upon you the title of Courier. You may wish to talk to some of my associates now.' He nods toward Celtreus before continuing, 'You have my congratulations and unquestionably earned respect. Carry on, Courier!

The quest reward from this quest
This gives you access to a new prefix title "Courier".

This basically flags you to be able to talk with Lysric and Celteus as well, and get their rewards, assuming you've done the required tasks of course.
