Hey guys i'm a 53 bard and my buddy started playing and chose cleric.I was wondering if there are any must haves as far as cleric gear that i can help him quest. I also was wondering if cleric bard is a good combo for farming xp etc.I solo alot and never really saw a way for someone to help me,guess i'm just 2 much of a loner.Thanks for any help u can give me

There are lots of good cleric items out there -- I would suggest that, if you're looking to twink him out a little bit, you would do well to get him fully outfitted in plate class armour. The cleric quest armour (Chestplate of the Constant, Greaves of the Penitent, etc.) is pretty good into the 30s, so, if he's going to take a while to level up, that could be good. Otherwise, go with gear like the Emerald Dragonscale Tunic for maximum twinkage, though +mana will give you more bang for the buck than +wis until he's around level 30.

I highly recommend the Earring of the Solstice quest, even though your friend won't get full use of the stats until level 51, Mana Regen 1 is a good start.

Get your buddy a low delay 1HB and a nice shield so he can work up his 1HB and bash. Let him tank some mobs near his level so he can maximize defense!
