Classes: The Bard
 | Bards - the jack of all trades. Each level is a new song and a new way to play. Handy with a weapon and able to wear decent armor, bards can hold their own in a fight. Plus, the ability to twist two to three songs without using mana gives the bard a magical ability like no other class.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the bard? Can they solo, and if so how? How should they best contribute to the group? What is the best strategy to develop your bard? Ive been with EQ for a while but have given up after the LDON expansion. Ive heard people talk about autotwisting, is that any good? Ive played bard a little, up to about lvl 15 and didnt love it too much, but am considering giving it another chance... ive only been able to twist 3 songs solidly, but for are possible, right? How many can you twist with the automatice function?
/melody 1 2 3 4 with a space between melody, 1, 2.. lets you get in a little more mele damage because you can move around and twist at the same time but ya, lets you twist 4 songs at once with little gap between them, if any. Enjoy!

Just started a bard. do you have to have a certian expansion in order to autotwist? Have up to POP and can't.

I think Melody came out with DoN, not sure, I know it came out much much later then PoP tho.

Just a note for any bards with the eq tirlogy download and nothing else, you CAN use /melody
