Classes: The Necromancer

Necromancers - Masters of death. With their powerful pets and variety of damage over time spells, necromancers are one of the best solo classes in the game.

What is the best way to play a necromancer? What are the best solo strategies? How should the necromancer be played within a group? How should you develop your necromancer to best take advantage of his abilities? What are the important faction considerations for a necromancer? Which spells work best, and which are not worth their price?

Post your strategies on how to best play and develop the Necromancer and read, rate and comment on what others have to say.

Have you tried WoS? I dont think you are high enough for Jewel of Atiiki, but once you make level 70, I would make my way there.

I dont think a 66 necro with that hp/mana could solo WoS..erm, assuming you are talking about the summoning mobs in C1. I can solo them well and thats doin nothing but healing the pet, while pet tanks them. But that is with the 73 pet heal and 72 pet spell, so thats quite a bit more HP on pet and more healing power on heal spell then your probably using atm. As for grouping, WoS is a great spot there at 66 for groups. For soloing at 66 i would try Nobles Causeway,(might be lblue) Halls Of Honor (lots of spliting, kinda annoying),
hmm... thats all i can think of atm, ill repost if i think of more. :)

Vergalid's room in Vergalid Mines. It is better xp than Icefall.

It takes practice getting their without dying and you need to do a prerequisite key quest.

Hi, this is older post but will suggest, the burried sea expansion. The snakes at the herb garden in katta castrum are excellent exp and once you understand the camp pretty safe. Also there are a lot of very good kitting experiences to be had in the burred sea. The pirates are good exp alone and there are quests to be done that also addition exp and bits for the hand aug look it up i dont remember name. very nice 15 ac 115 hps and somevery nice stats stacked on it as well. All of the tasks offer exp upon completion as well.
