I just thought I would ask ya'lls opinion on "old world" or maybe at least "older world" places fun for soloing a newly 59 Necro with his new pet. I just returned after nearly 3 years and wanted to refresh my memory. I know some old zones have changed, so I thought I would get the heads up here. Thanks!
I'll consider "Old World" to be anything up to and including Luclin.
Plane of Hate is fun and nostalgic if you don't mind paying around 50pp for a port stone.
Kunark has several dungeons for your level. Veksar has always been a necro playground, and there's always Old Seb or Chardok or the newer Chardok B zone.
Velious you could try soloing in the hotzone Dragon Necropolis. Siren's Grotto has level appropriate stuff but not exactly a kite zone for necro soloing. Areas of all of the city zones are xp'able too if you don't mind trashing faction in Kael / Thurgadin & Icewell / Skyshrine. Velketor's Lab upper or lower dogs are probably decent xp for 59.
Luclin hotzone Acrylia Caverns you would probably have to make your way to Inner Acrylia for decent xp. Grieg's End is still good xp for solo even though it's not a hotzone anymore. Umbral Plains would probably be alright.
I don't know what expansions you have but if you have Planes of Power then Plane of Nightmare was a kiters choice for a long time, or PoV outer caves.

Thanks! That's a good bit of choices. I just bought the Anniversary Edition so I could complete the collection. I'll try some places this weekend.
At level 59, go to Plane of Mischief. DO the wall MObs - the asslings. Their pathing and separation is cake - just snare dot, dot, dot nuke, sit & med. They drop gemstones sometimes, but mostly pages and words. too easy at 59...
