Has anyone here actually managed to successfully quad kite mobs around your level? i've tried but get 2 problems:
1. dots wear off causing me to go OOM
2. Snare wears off and when you have mobs without snare hammering your ***, you dont last long!

So what is the best tatic to quad kite?

News Flash: You're a Necromancer.

Why, in the name of all that is unholy, would you even think of quad-kiting? Necromancers do not have AE spells that would allow you to take on such a task. That is for the Druids and Wizards. Now, if you want to sit in one spot and fear kite 4 different mobs, more power to you.

You would do better fear kiting in any case. You would keep it up indefinatly on higher con mobs. If you can quad blue or LBs, you can single a yellow for better XP.

True Quadding is when you have AoE shares and AoE spells. I did it with my wizard.

What AoE snare and AoE attack did you use for a quadding necro?

Dont have any AoE, so cast snare on each of the mobs plus dots, when one breaks quickly reapply, make sure to give your self enough room. Its actually really fun and keeps you on your toes

Anyone that is able to kite mobs can quad kite. Quad means 4, therefore quad kite means to kite 4. I know, aren't I just a jackass :). I applaud the one who quads icefall bears with 45% mana left.

Since we are getting technical. Quad kiting comes from the fact that many Wizard and Druid targeted AoE spells only hit 4 targets maximum.

Necromancers do not quad kite. They aggro kite. Necromancers who kite 4 mobs are not quad kiting, they are aggro kiting 4 mobs.

I know where the term quad kiting came from, but thats not exactly how I see it. Instead of quad kiting, it should be called AE kiting because thats what it is, it just doesn't sound as cool as quad kiting.

I used to quad in HoH, not on purpose of course...my technique tho would be to focus on 1 mob at a time, and keep the other 3 snared.

Later on when i started Kiting the Lost Notebook DoD i have a few 4 pulls there to, once again, if you just focus on 1 mob its easy to keep your mana up and not worry so much about running out and gettin killed. I was only 70 at the time ~8.5kmana.

I dunno if this counts but I took on 6 mobs in LP at Gators on the beach. A wizard had screwed up and got killed during a quad while I was alrdy kiting 2 mobs. Guess he snared himself or something. But I had to dispatch all 6
