Classes: The Warrior

Warriors - the tank class. Combining a powerful offense with a strong defense, warriors are best suited to slugging it out toe to toe with the monsters they face.

What is the best way to develop and play your warrior? What skills are the most useful for a warrior to develop and master? Can a warrior be soloed, and if so how? How should the warrior be played within a group? What weapons and armor whould the warrior seek out?

Post your strategies on how to best play and develop the Warrior and read, rate and comment on what others have to say.

copper hammer
the delays of the two are close enough that the hammer can be used in primary
mainly because the dd portion on the hammer is more than the SotB's dd

i tend to disagree.
In my experiance the stun affect of sotbs adds more agro then the increase dd damage.

SotB - Effect: Planar Strike
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 75
2: Stun(0.00 sec/65)

CHoS - Effect: Force Shock
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 171 (L20) to 179 (L24)
2: Stun(0.00 sec)

they both have stun
the CHoS procs for 104 more damage than the SotB
CHoS in primary means more chance for procs, which means more damage from dd with the same stun aggro

I agree with Duadil. I used to use CHoS and SoTB, and always held aggro better with CHoS in primary. When I got my BoC, it was the SoBS that got sold off.

Neither the SoTBS nor the CHoS have proc rate modifiers. They proc the SAME amount. The difference in the proc type really does make CHoS a better primary weapon.

Hmm The SotBS looks cooler if you a fancy pants human maybe. I am actually damn tired of showin gup to a raid and seeing the same 2-3 weapons in everyones hands. Its rare to find a melee who doesn't have a CHoS and thats sad. Yeah it kicks ***, but I hold aggro just fine with my Fleshgrinder in primary and my SotBS in secondary. Bot Proc alot so I dont think which hand they are in makes much difference (my Dex is 119 or so unbuffed) so Get a Dex buff and a rare unpopular old world weapon or some cool no drop quest item and put down the generic crap
