I had a bizarre, semi-FFXI-related dream last night.
I was fighting Odin. Not my FFXI character, but me personally. The odd thing is, I wasn't a Galka Paladin, but my Rogue/Scout character from the free MMO Runes of Magic. Odin threw something at me, which I believe was a Valkyrie's Fork, and my dream changed.
I found myself in the middle of a live-action multiplayer Street Fighter tournament. Somebody told me I was next up, and I had to fight Akuma. Except it wasn't Akuma, but the Immortals from the movie 300.
Not just one Immortal, mind you. I had to fight ALL of them. At the same time.
The last thing I remember before waking up is starting Zangief's Final Atomic Buster on one of the Immortals. I got as far as pulling off the German Suplex before waking up and looking at the back of my wife's head. Considering my semi-awake state, the fact that it was dark, and she's a brunette, it looked like the pillow had swallowed her from the shoulders up.

Holy crap that's an awesome dream. My dreams are all nuts. They always have like some sort of plotline to them too. Like there was this one dream I had where snipers were targeting me and my friend. Their sniper scopes gave a digital read out on my friend saying, "Target acquired" and so they took him and his mom in for questioning.
They gave both of them strange looking artifacts with alien writing that was illegible at first but then both of them recognized the writing. They started chanting in unison and translating it. It turns out it was the Alien's equivalent of the Ten Commandments.

Who else is drinking tonight? My girlfriend left half a bottle of that Friday's Mudslide crap at my house, which means I get to drink it without her laughing at me. Double-win.
