If you like Minecraft survival mode, you might like this. You have to build/gather supplies and survive. It seems pretty safe to start with, I spent three days in the game and the only monsters I ever found were a bunch of spiders that stayed away as long as I didn't attack them.

It is very easy to die if you try to attack creatures early on. And I found foraging for food to be difficult at times, especially when I went off to find ores to mine and ventured very far from the prairie lands filled with rabbits and berries.

If you buy it now you get two copies (give one to a friend/family member).

Looks like a rather interesting game. Will have to keep an eye on it and possibly pick it up later.

I'm on Day 35 and have a pretty nice little camp setup.

A fire pit, a few chests to hold stuff. I've dug up saplings, grass tufts, and berry bushes and planted them in areas around my camp. I built 5 farm plots so far and have them growing food.

My camp is a very safe spot, there are no spider nests anywhere near it. The closets spider nest is the next "island" over.

"Opitmus Pine" (aka, Tree Guard) spawned on my about half an hour ago as I was clearing out a planted forest of trees north of my camp. I just restarted. He is a very deadly monsters. One hit can kill you if you don't have armor on, but he's very slow moving. He spawns seemingly randomly from a tree if you cut a tree down near him. I cleared out all the forested areas near me and am keeping one tree that I'll let grow to max size and then cut it down and replant it. Hopefully this makes it impossible for him to spawn in my camp again.

Unfortunately for me (or maybe fortunately?) the nearest pigman town is 3 "islands" away and it's a full days trip to go one direction and harvest manure. I learned about the Full Moon the hard way. I went down there one day to get manure for my farms, and in the forest was a hairy pig that started attacking me. I ran over to the town thinking I could bribe a pigman with some meat into fighting for me. EVERY pig in the town had turned into a werepig and started chasing me. Relentlessly. Dusk had hit and I was halfway back to my camp, only 2 pigs left (the rest stopped to fight monsters along the way). I got to camp and night hit, the werepigs went to sleep and reverted to normal pigs. I fed them meat and they woke up and became my friends. Then they reverted to Werepigs and started attacking each other. One died, I pulled my axe and went after the survivor, but he attacked a nearby bee hive and died instantly. I took the meat loot and walked back to my camp fire. From now one I'll make sure to stay away from Pig Town during full moons.

Death is permanent. You can retry, using the same map (reset to default) and you keep your researched recipes, but you lose any camps or stuff you made.
