doess it work on a wiz. if so dos it work on any spell that the have for the summoner hast 4 one. i would like to know.

This objest helps my pet summon faster at Level 34. it was cheap and a great fill for a spot that doesn't have much to fill it (ranged slot )
Yeap got one of these yesterday and it has no effect when summoning my 61 pet Legacy of Zek. So really its a complete waste of an effect which a Necro would never really use anyway. Change it to reanimation haste PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

i have this and it works just fine with summoning lvl 49 pet it speeds it up quite nice dont know what the heck your talking about.

I'm positive that Summoning Haste 4 won't work for any Necro (regardless of level) because Necros need Reanimation Haste, not Summoning Haste (which is the Mage focus effect.)
So - either the effect needs to be changed or the class does...

This used to not work for Necros, and now it DOES work for necros. That's why all the confusion between those saying it won't work and those saying they have it and it works.

OK, you keep being positive. Meanwhile my 48 Necro will continue to have the Decayed Bone Idol sparkle and shorten my casting times for my level 44 pet. All I need now is the Efficiency IV effect to make it really rock....

Has anyone one tried casting Summon Companion with this item equiped? The foci may reduce the casting time on that spell. But other than that, the foci is completely worthless to a necro.

Yeah, I just recently purchased this in hopes that it would expedite my pet summoning but alas, it apparently only works for mages. I wonder if this was a mistake by Verant(Mistake? No, never!). I mean, a Decaying Bone Idol would seem more like something a Necro would carry around.
Yeah, been wondering that myself...if Verant changes it to what it should be, Reanimation Haste...watch the price tripple on these...

Level 33 necro iksar has the decaying bone idol and when I cast my pet it casts it alot faster, so it does work for necros

Does anyone know what level mob you can charm with this spell and is it a random or set duration? If it is set, how long?

Found this item for sale in the Bazaar for 600 pp. Since im a 45 necro I thought this would be a nice upgrade to my sarnak ceremonial dagger.

I have 55BST on Rathe server and spell is dropped. The named wurm or mind burrower is the first mention of the mob that drops it. Ill be looking foward to finding it myself too many peeps are trying to sell the spell for 20k talk about plat crazy. And I know of only 2 BST that actually have the spell, same as spirit of flame. Well hope this helpa out a bit.

Hmm.... I have a friend who is a 56 Animist. I heard from him that this is a dropped spell, not a spell sold at the vendors.
