This solo task begins with Rokiln the Hunter in Vergalid Mines. He is located at +1175 -1260 -440 (stay to the left after zoning in and dropping down the elevator shaft. When you reach the room with the statue of a giant, click the statue to find him behind it.
You say, 'Hail, Rokiln the Hunter' The spirit speaks slowly, 'Greeetinnngs. . . Though you be not my kindred, you have proven your worth by delivering these noble hunting trophies to honor my grave. In return for this great service, Troll, I will tell you the [tale] of this tomb.' You say, 'What tale?' Rokiln the Hunter says 'For many years, my ancestors held these mines, until the dragon men came. . .' Rokiln now offer his four different tasks... You have been assigned the task, 'Shield of the Otherworld'. Deliver 1 Disk of Warriors to Rokiln the Hunter Deliver 1 Disk of Heroes to Rokiln the Hunter Deliver 1 Disk of Kings to Rokiln the Hunter The disks in question are obtained through their own separate tasks, also from Rokiln. As you return the disk to the tomb, you hear a giant rumble rise up from the depths. The giant spirits living in the void have been appeased. You have successfully been granted your reward for: Shield of the Otherworld | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I am sooo totally confused. I am doing this on the heroe's journey and I did all four of the other quests, spent days getting it all done. What do I do for this one?

Kaelikk's link to monkly business still works (years later). The thread there is full of screenshots and posts --it looks like an extremely good write up --but I have no idea if it is accurate.

As a Ranger, level 80, now about 1590 aa, 18450 HP/ 3315 AC self buffed with tribute and Leadership AA's (from boxes in the bazaar and gl) I was able to solo at least four of the mobs: Overseer Dyla in Vergalid Mines (or was it Watchman Orak? my memory fails me), Hammerfist the Champion in Direwind Cliffs, Advisor Neezin D`rahl in Ashengate, Reiliquary of Scale, and most recently Griffon Trainer Ahrendes, also in AG. Overall the quest was hard, and the solo mobs were hard also. Lots of thought went into it, I made a list of mobs, drops needed, where they spawned, and other important quest information. I had help along the way, even for the ones solo'd. For instance I didn't make it to the Advisor alone (see write up on his page). My group broke up for the night and I stayed even later, (and I had the help of a camp fire left over from my fellowship to use when I died). For the AG and Direwind mobs I depended on getting them as singles and using Weapon Shield, which has a 67 minute refresh time. Killing was slow, but EXP was not the goal. So if you put your mind to it, read, plan it out, get lucky groups and camps you can do it also.

something i've been wondering, but after completing the quest for this Aug, can you go back and get the other 3 (if you really wanted)? or does the lore tag on this aug conflict with the tags on the Kings, Heroes, and Warriors augs?
