A Shadow Overlord  

He spawns at: pos 1400, pos 670.

Have killed him 4 times over last several days and many hours of camping, has dropped centien visor every time. So I think I have established what the common drop is. Tis the idol I want though.

I just killed the Shadow Overlord yesterday after camping him for the past 4 days on and off. He dropped what I wanted...the Transient Idol.

Basically, I just clear the PH everytime I pass by the zone. He is not too hard to single pull. I just lull all the mobs around him, move to the side (outside) of the broken tower that is closest to the spawn point, then hit em with a DoT. I wait for him to pop out of the tower and on top of me. Then I drag him out of the outpost. He'll hit ya with a HT for around 1000 and once in a while he'll lifetap for 280 and also try to fear ya. It took me a while solo but most of my songs landed especially mez when I need to heal.

killed him with 65sk 58druid 56 enc today droped bst spell spirit of flame and swurling shadow ( 3 ) and word of grapling... anyway we were all disapointed but it was fun :)

think a full group of 50+ could take him?

Well finally saw him on ME last nite 3/27. I camp him with my dad 62 necro , my brother 60 druid and myself 64 monk. His actural spawn at loc pos1500 pos650 in a Half pipe Building , His PH might be a Xi Vius or relative, wont be 4 arms. The safe spot to camp him is pos1750 pos850 as the corner you can see it in EQATLAS map. Here are something you might useful:

In the pipe house , there will be 5 Xis' ,2 door 3 inside , the middle of the inside 3 is Overlord PH, his spawn time is 35 or 40min, not like those around him were 30min, this might mess your timing on pulling , and breaking in is pretty hard.

Make sure you have druid to HoN (Harmony of Nature) those on left side when you face the pipe house from corner before pulling, I will suggest you clean them first. There will be a 4 arms stand near wall and her right side will be 2 Xis' guarding another ruin entrance , they will chain aggro if you pull from pipe house but not kill them first or HoN them.

You can use some undead only offence spell to Xis' like Shackles of spirits ( yes my dad rocks). But 4-arm ladies where not and most of them were lv57 , If they are SK form you wil be HT 911 , If they are Cleric form you will have a long fight becuase you are hard to interrupt their CH cuz they lv57+.

The Overlord himself is SK, do 1011 HT and really , not hit hard. I am 3800hp/1285 ac with druid crap buff can tank him with ease , even he can be slowed by shackles also. But He drop the Visor not Idol I want , dad is happy and I will keep camp him these days. hope you guyz could use these info.

We took him down with 60 druid 60 pally and 56 shaman without any difficulty.

He dropped Transient Idol, nice range slot for melee.

This guy doesnt summon, and has fairly low resists for a 60 mob, he is a 60 sk, and hits for 181 max . A lev 60 with decent resists should be okay, does cast the 280 point life leach spell though, but can be avoided if you stay at max spell range. Had him to 16% without KEI, and having to recast PotC midfight---but had to egress after a 4 arm CH'd him (was standing over a curious druid's corpse that was close to where i was kiting)

Were planning to slay him coming up really soon, can anyone give me an approximate location or description of where he spawns? Is it in the huge fortress near the Spire like structure? Is it right at the structure, or in one of the other oddly shaped buildings? I sure would appreciate any info that could help me out with him. He is not in the boathouse correct, but the larger fortress, correct?

Can one group put this bad boy outta his misery? Or is a raid required? And does it drop anything else besides Transient Idol and Centien Visor?

Anyone know if this thing summons? Lots of high end Luclin mobs dont, just curious.
