Super rare mob. I left a character with pet on the elemental island for 4-5 days killing everything that auto pathed into me and only saw this guy once, and it was during increased rare week.
How the heck do you get there? I see you can go through Greigs End and a few more zones, but when I zoned for safety to GE from Dawnshroud, one of them MOBs with the fingery dreadlock hair knocked the snot out of me in one blow. Can a 37 high elf pally run through there safely?
So by killing the elementals in the Twilight sea on that island will actualy RAISE my faction with he npcs in the tower? thanks in advance for any answers

These guys Really worth Killing?, i never almost never go to TS with my Druid so i gess its not a big Deal =) 55 Druid can waste the place *Grins evilly*
is their a way to raise frac with elements
Also dropped Earthen Gauntlets AC: 10, STR: 5 Weight: 2.0 or 2.5. Anyway u slice it, kickass for any tank.

After spending days on this island, I have the following information. The best chance you have at getting any "greater" elemental (swift, beserk, gigantic, Aero, Hydro, Terra, and Inferno, etc) is to simply kill as many elementals as you can, as quickly as possible. Every time an elemental spawns, there is a chance that a "greater" elemental will spawn. Each "greater" elemental drops either a lesser or greater item, always. Once you kill a gigantic elemental or a named elemental of a particular type, you will become KOS for that particular type immediately. Otherwise, your faction goes down slowly each time you kill one, and goes up with the people in the castle on the island. Air Elementals are sometimes invisible, so having see invisible is a plus. It seems to me that killing the elementals near the Large Rocks in the middle of the island seems best, as the "greaters" always seem to spawn near these rocks, but, simply killing them all is best anyway. If you have a full group, the loot is plentiful, and for NON UBER folk, very good. I was there for 5 hours with a full group the other night, and everyone except me looted 2 items (I have all the items that dropped, and they are lore). In all the time I have spent on this island, which is well over 36 hours, I have only seen 1 named Elemental, Aero, once. I also know he spawned on patch day, after a server re-pop. I got Hardy Pants ac8 +3sta +3str
I droped Terra last night and the hardy pants are 8ac 5sta 15hp, they look like reg leather pants and can be worn by all leather based classes

GorGorbey, Terra does in fact exist, and she has very similar loot tables to your gigantic elemental... Simply scroll up to the screenshot for some evidence that Terra is around.

In case you're wondering what he's talking about, the other earth elemental, I believe, is Rumblecrush. Lives in the Umbral Plains. Level 66. Hits for about a thousand a round. Once you slow/cripple him, he's much easier. Oh and they do NOT drop the same loot, Rumble's is better and more plentiful. And please, don't be such a prick.
I thought RumbleCrush was a giant stonegrabber... doesn't that mean he isn't effected by bane summoned and such?

I spent about 7 hours yesterday on the elly island and only saw the special fire and air elementals(not the named ones..the massive or whatever). I dont think they spawned because of anything I was doing though becuase that was when a bunch of lvl 50+ were clearin the island. Once they left no special or named ones ever spawned..for 4 hours( Any advice or tips on how to get the spawns..other than kill the whole damn islad) theres just 2 of us, 2 lvl 30 beastlords, so cant do that) Thanks in advance

Actually "I have become death, the destroyer of worlds" is an old hindu text about the God Shiva. Oppenheimer sad it the day of the first nuclear bomb testing in New Mexico.

Actually... its not about the god shiva, its about the god vishnu. Also, "i have become death, the destroyer of worlds" is a common mistranslation from the sanskrit original. A more correct translation would be "i have become time, the eater of worlds"

There is also the possibility that he got the phrase from the character Xar (spelling) the necro you run into with Montaron in the game Bladur's Gate. It is a phrase he says often. It is also the phrase you can choose for your male casters as the run into battle. Myself I always prefered the "lets do this, quick and painful". Anyway my 2cp take care all. Karana be with you.

Anywhere on the elemental island. Its not THAT big of an island. If you arn't a druid or ranger good luck, theres always someone camping the island for the big elementals nowadays, and usually its a druid (dont they camp everything?) so itll likely be dead before you get there.

Hehe, apparently you don't knows what a bard can do. =) (not referring to the tracking part. But for those who don't know, you'll just have to play with one of us to figure out how we can take a spawn away from a selfish druid)
As for camping rare spawns, the general rule is to work the other people who are interested in the same mob into the camping rotation. Its only a game, share the fun.

Not everyuone can run the new models friend no need to use slurs just shows your insecurity with self. I myself was pleasantly suprised when turned on the elementals altho on my main puter i still see totally nude people and many layers of the graphics not showing such as norrath in sky, plate legs just change nude color to armour color my dwarven workboots which look really cool on other comp but am barefoot on this one i hope they finish work with intel on the 82810 cards cuz this comp refuses to let me turn off the onboard vid and when i had excellent card as main it lagggggggggged and i mean impossible to walk much less get in life or death confrontation so on mine old models except for elem/horses
Oh and since im almost certain to get flame for something or another I'll do it too..I honestly know "tards" with more respect for feelings than you jerk. Flame on!!
