umm any one know how much HP that these guys have? killing em right now....probly around 700-800i think not sure....just need some one to clarify this for me

I went over and played with them for a little while. My DD spell does 496 damage to them. After hitting them twice with it they are usually down to 8-15% health... So MetalKnight would be about the right range. Somewhere around 1300ish.

I would guess around 1300 - 1500...that's how much the 3 dots I use plus my pet add up to.

Just a little update- The Kodiak Pelt info is wrong, it was patched to includ VAH: Vah'Shir. So, if you wanna make a Vah'Shir, this is a nice twink item for a low price.

Gonnawin those Kodiaks doesnt have any faction.
Excelent expierence from 30 up to 42. Very aggro
and easy to build trains you deeper you hunt in
their caves. Recomended you hunt them in group.
They respawn really fast too.
LOOT: No money instead of Icetooth. Not often but
sometimes they drop Bracers and Pelts.

They never drop coin, except Icetooth, I got a pelt off one last night.
Exp is good, and with a group and Fear, you can fight these guys almost one after another. Just don't let them run into the Shardworms below Icetooth's cave, try and keep them up on the ledge even with the cave entrance.

As an update to my last post, todays patch changes Kodiaks back to the Animals that they are!

Tried to charm one of these after 3/27 patch and still get the "this spell only works for animals" message. So, it seems to still be broken. =(
I only tried with the feral cave kodiak though, not any of the kodiaks in EW.

I killed one and it dropped a Kodiak Bracer. 6ac 3str wt 1.0

Obviously, Verant considers these critter to be monsters not animals. The Druid animal spells will not work on these guys so don't waste your mem slots. Too bad cuz they would be a hoot to charm.

These are not monsters, atleast not on April 14, 2003, i killed serveral tonight using panic animal (fear only animal spell) and it worked just fine =)

Anyone now the faction you can lose or gain by killing Kodiaks, and Icetooth the named Kodiak?
these dont seem to be on any factions
