Went up there with my 85 Ranger and 85 ench...with cleric and warrior merc... spent about 2 hrs..named popped and the Warleader's Pearl dropped....guess its very random..hehe
Been going on aug hunt's for about a month now, got a few of the good ones. This one was next on my list. Well, I gave up.
Camped him for longer than I care to admit. Got him to spawn 13 times (anyone who has camped him knows how long that takes) and he didn't drop aug at all. All of my little alts have new gloves, tho.
So, throwing out the short version, and sorry if you really want it, you're gonna be here a while.
This guy is Stupid Rare. i have been at this camp the last few times. tonight alone i have been here 9 hours killing PH's as they spawn and still no named. i have had him spawn 3 other times in the last few weeks and no aug. if you are going after this aug. i suggest you have a book next to you because its a boring camp
Danzell your the man... I used your instructions and camped the spawn easy, only 1 spawn for me tonight out of about 3 and a half hours, and no drop, but at least I know hes an easy box camp!
thanks for that great info!
and we all should start filling out data like this for mobs!
Minotaur Warleader Max hit: 3084 DPS: 1k - 1.3k Flurry? No AE Ramp? No Single target Ramp? Yes Enrage? Yes Run at low health? No See invis? Yes Effects? None Adds? None Slowable? Yes
If you're gonna camp this guy, I'd suggest setting up in the safe room at -250, -30, 461. This room is safe to AFK in, and is handy for camping this guy. Any of the 4 minos on this floor are PHers, but I'd only suggest pulling the ones marked 1-3 on my map. (leave #4 alone unless you've got a good group.)
I normally do this camp with my 3-box (Monk, cleric, shaman). After buffing, I'll set my 2 casters up in the safe room, and then invis my monk to the spot marked "put melees here."
I'll then pull mino #1 to that same "put melees here" corner, and will kill him while healing through the wall.
To pull #2, you'll want to wait for #3 to wander back into his room. Once #3 wanders into his room, I normally monk-mez the 2 gnomes up by #2 and pull him to the corner, and kill him just like #1.
As for #3, I wait for him to wander outside of his room, and then I monk-mez the gnome and brownie that are close to him, and then I pull and kill him like #1 and 2. After all 3 are dead (leave #4 alone) I usually just invis back to the safe room, and wait for repops.
If the warleader spawns, you'll want to follow the same pattern, but be ready to do some extra healing, as he can rampage casters through the wall.
I hope this helps with the camp.
*Warning* If aren't able to fight where I've suggested, and want to fight inside the safe room, be warned that the wandering spider will aggro you through the door, so it's best to kill him first.

One last thing I noticed that really doesn't have anything to do with anything...all the mino PHers have their left horn broken off, but the Warleader has both of his intact...kind of interesting.
91 now and all the mobs are LB but here for the $$$. Figured I'd take on as many bosses as I could and this is an excellent resource.
On the downside I haven't run into any bosses , Having trouble soloing any more than 3 , esp with a t2 Healer , Getting a lot of people running in to PK due to the Gyro-port , And to top it off My character keeps turning into an Ogre when I'm a Nec?romancer
He can also spawn in the bedroom room on the right, in my experience Warleader is a much rarer spawn than the other named in the zone. I've spent a fair amount of time up there attempting to get the aug and have only had him pop once.
He drops all 4 glove types. My friend has been camping him for the augment (very very rare, 10 kills and nothing but gloves).
Minotuar Warleader himself hits close to, but not quite 3k (2800+ on silk class). Slow lands (slightly), mezz immune, root immune, rampages, and enrages. Fun fight.
