Took 3 rangers all at the correct stage of the 1.5 pre-quest. Killed him and he dropped 1 stone.
Re-logged the other 2 and no re-spawn/trigger so kept checking back every 30min or so until he was up again, which was about 2hrs 15m later - so I'm assuming respawn is 2 hours.

He defiantly roams. The square fountain by the broken doorway leading to Jaeil, at 36, 428 I found him in the hallway to the immediate NORTH in the light blue/yellow hallways on the map. He seems to roam that hallway system, down into the caves by Jaeil.
I am not sure where he came from, but his corpse was among the pile of Stone Wards I was camping for AAs at the bottom of the Hole today, first time I had ever seen it.
He also dropped a Mithril Amulet and a Rune of the Astral, along with the Dusty Stone, on 8/14/2013.

Picked up on tracking with a 71 druid cons lightblue. No idea where it is but I haven't seen a ranger zone in.

It is not level 65 *web page info needs updated*.. My BST box is level 65 and conned DB.. Just thought I would make that straight to eveyrone.. ALSO the Location I seen it was where the back part of the city & the mine that heads down to the bottom. When he agroed a local ratman gaurd wanted to join in on the festivites! Fight took maybe 1 minute. *note* I dont give 111.11 / 111.11 loc's; I give actual where it is easiest to find as I HATE /loc.. Your welcome to all who like what I have done for you.

+110 / +420 is close imop, that is a enterance with a broken looking door to a yellow path on the map ( looked like a small maze ) inside were several ghost and Stone Collector was wandering. Which made him annoying to track +110 / +420 was part of his route but he did wander into the maze.. He was up when I got there so I do not know if he can spawn in milti spots in that area. He looked like a Gray Construct. Good luck on your Pre Quest I hope this helps.
This guy is not a triggered spawn. As a solo SK I ran into him today around the /loc already mentioned.

I was in here with all the required items on me. Logged in and out several times, zoned in and out several times, nothing. No idea what the deal is. This is either bugged or there's some weird way of making him spawn....
Anyone able to tell me if he is a triggered spawn or on a long timer, I have been here for 2 days looking for him.

I think you have to be a ranger, you have to be at the right point in the prequest, and you need the prequest items on you.
While we were trying to figure out the prequest, everytime I zoned into the Hole, this guy would pop... but since I killed him, I rarely see him, and then, I think it's because someone else popped him and didn't kill him.

Been here forever ( well over 8 hours ) i have cleared the area continuously and yes i have the cloth and solution on me i have zoned out and back in i have camped out and back in still no stone collector any help on a ph or a spawn time or any useful info ??????????

ok i found out that this mob is located at +110 +420 it is near the tunnel to jaeil the wretched he spawns near the entrance to the tunnel but not right in front of it.
