Did this quest on Zek me and a buddy we had clr (64) bard (70) war (75) and me shm (71) the quest wasnt too hard in fact it was really easy. this guy tho was the hardest of the mob's. But never fret we devised a simple trick to make this fight easy and every bard should know how to do this we just would kite the adds with bardy and then bam when mob was dead he spawn'd maybe 3 mobs bam fading memories on the bard bam your done
Killed the spirits and Champions on the side where we were (towards camp) killed him, he went down rather quickly. 2 adds showed up after the fight, they run kinda slow
I pulled him to Firetails today. I can confirm that they are summoned to him. However throughout the entire fight we had 3 adds all of which were "a fallen spirit"
We fought Ravenglass twice last night. First time we cleared just about everything before pulling him and we fought him on one side of the plateau. We got him under 50 percent before anything came when he emitted the call for help. This was due to the mobs not being available early on and as they began to repop, he started calling them.
I am thinking that if you clear the whole side of the plateau closest to the mistwalkers and then pull Manifestation of Ravenglass all the way down into the valley there to kill, you would probably be nearly add free for the entire fight.
Did it fairly easly with a ranger, cleric, mage, war(me), and another war, we pulled raven, then i held him and slowly killed him as ranger mage and other war killed adds. it seemed to spawn adds about every 8 to 10%, almost randomly, like its time based, i honestly dont know, found its easyest to pull him down near bewteen the river, and the wolfs, no raomers there.
We wiped on him once with a few adds, one of them being a champion. May have had some mobs respawning on us near where we were fighting though.
We regrouped and went back, cleared a lot of mobs and then pulled him to us and this time got zero adds. Our camp was in an area out of the way to the south. We waited to pull him till after we cleared the respawns that were close to the camp.
Dropped 3 marks, the Wristwraps, Golem Bone Dust, and a Broken Wand.
He calls for help, and this can be anything from 2-6 fallens.
Have killed him a few times and each time has been fairly easy for a regular group of 70's.
All the adds are snarable/rootable/ mezzable.
Never had a fallen champion be called to help, so Im wondering if they are just your normal add if you are fighting Raven to close to the top of his plateau.
Best bet is to pull him south towards the Horses. You can see his "call for help" message and watch as his little fallen helpes come from up the slope to his aid.
I usually snare and root em. Only problems are when ive got 4 or 5 parked is runnin to close to one of em occassionaly.
Yes the fallens snare you also, but its no big deal. Once rooted they rarely break and as I said, if you are watching the emote, you do get a warning and can see them coming.
Just pick em off as they pop.
I quite like this fight tbh, cos it keeps me busy, busy, busy.
Raven himself is slowable, and is probably one of the easiest of the 5 named mobs for the cloak.
Called Shadow or Ravenglass or something special. It drains mana and hp's, don't know as though I resisted it ever on my warrior and his saves are pretty solid, mid 300 average. I didn't have Resplendent Cure up, but that most likely would have fixed it for a time.
Also, I got adds, three of them popped. If not for the mana drain I could have kept them all happily mezzed and no probs, but I was running out of mana on my healer, nuker, and crowd control.
Rampages when it says flurries, flurries when it says rampages.
Every time I've fought it has only summoned Fallen Spirits, if anyone got Fallen Champions during the fight it was probably a roamer. Number of adds per summon seems to vary (from 1-3?), can easily have 8 or so by the end of the fight.
we cleared area around tree completly before fight.after that we got no add's.seems like hes calling the adds not summoning em.but saw in other post that folks got adds even they cleared area before fight,so take info with precaution. good luck
can kill this guy alone, im a 70 necro, just kill plenty of mobs around him cause it seems those are his adds, if you do get adds, mezz em, this guy dont hit much once slowed.
We killed this guy last night, and there were many more adds than just six. I was on mez duty so have no idea at what percent the Manifestation was when adds spawned. They seemed to spawn 1-2 at a time, sometimes at his feet, sometimes on the hill (everything was clear before we pulled him). I hadn't tashed anything first, and everything mezzed on first shot with Felicity.
Our group was 70 war (who tanked), 70 pal, 70 clr, 65 clr, 70 enc. Before the Manifestation died, everyone was oom (adds running around without a leash gleefully killing everything in their path). Shortly after it died, everyone was dead. Mob dropped Three Mark of Ravenglass. War said that he got a Mark in his inventory when mob died, but doing this quest today no one got mark in inventory.
You don't have to have the task when you kill him in order to get credit when you turn in the Mark.
Have fought this NPC on multiple occasions just to see how hard he was to kill.
1st fight: thought he called for help as he was in his area, too many adds, evacced and regrouped.
2nd fight: Cleared almost everything in his area, and pulled. At roughly 65%, three a fallen spiritpopped at his feet. at about 30ish % three more did.
Have fought this NPC in multiple locations around his spawn point and each time the same spawns at roughly the same percentages.
1) You suspect that this being can see you. 2) Trap spawned?
My rogue was scouting around with SoS when she saw this unique tree. Floated over above it for closer inspection and this thing appeared (non-agro'ed) out of nowhere right below her feet. Odd thing was it could see her but it didn't agro til she had finished floating down to melee range, then it went after her. Instant gated out, went back a few minutes later, and noted it wasn't up until she got close again. A few seconds later, it despawned and remained that way until rogue left the zone.
It summons Fallen Spirits and Fallen Champions to it about every 30 second I wasn't able to check percentages to see if that was when it did it. Got it to 12% with a 70 Cleric , Pally and Chanter. Was only hitting about 800. Partially slowable and all the adds were mezzable. Flagged undead Cast a Mana drain DoT ( Shadow of Ravenglass)
