Spawns at -941, 2413. Scowls at anyone but Prexus worshippers. No faction hit. I timed the respawn as around 5 minutes and 50 seconds. Uses monk attacks hitting max of 30 on my pet (16 Necro)

Spawns in the cannal of Lake Rathe near the shaman 1.5 mob spawn. (loc -915, 2417) He's in a little hut agroed on me when I sat down and I accidently killed him with a reposte of 416. Only droped two water for me.
My lev 18 Mage stumbled across him while my pet was busy with a shark and I had already lost a lot of HPs; he killed me. I went back to get my corpse and after I had looted he attacked me again and I died again. Third time I managed to loot my corpse and get an Earth Pet up before he attacked then while the pet fought him I nuked him for 91 twice but he was still beating my pet. I then hit him with shock of blades twice before panicking and gating. I probably would have beat him if I had stayed and helped the pet directly but I did not want to die a third time. Next time I will give the Pet Rage and a fireshile dbefore attacking, just to be sure. He sure is hard to kill for a Dark Blue!
I have solod over 20 characters anywhere from 12 to 15th level up to 16th to 20th level on this guy and today was a first.
I took my Erudite Cleric of Prexus to Jonah and he was not aggresive? Just to make sure I brought both my Barbarian Beastlord and Half-elven Druid over to check it out, and he was agresive to them.
I take it this means he worships Prexus, which would make sense him being near the water. It did not however extend his survival time. ;=)

I am using a lvl 12 earth pet. He can survive as long as I continously nuke. The Fire pet can almost solo him if I only heal, but not quite. I give the earth pet the staff of tracing, he seems to hit harder with it. I rusty two hander would be better. Even with the earth pet you recover all mana and pet health just before next spawn.
I used invis extensively to get to him. He is at the bottom of the zone in the hooked curved bay marked 10 on the map. I am lvl 15, but if you can fire shield your pet and cast 8 Shock of Blades, you will be able to solo him.
I am not sure a 12 can due that, but I believe a 13th mage can.
I started camping him tonite. My 13LVL Troll SK goes through him like nothing. So far worst he has done is get me down to 2 bubbles of health. I have not used HT at all and am not using a pet. Great XP and water is the loot of choice.
Well, today i thought i would try and take him cause all the bird spawn that i could do were taken, i get there and i had my pet already summoned, so when he agroed i sent my pet. then i darknessed him, then leach and then heart flutter, then heat blood, sat down and medded, he died very fast, and i'm going to take this fool till lvl 20.

Just to clarify the other reply to this. I assume you mean the gnolls near South karana, which is the north end of zone. if you pass them and hang right a bit that would be West.
yeah hes in lake rathetear obviously. If you are in front of the undead kobolds or gnolls whatever they are you go straight off the dock and and to the right some youll reach a kind of river bend make sure you invis cuz this guy is crazy he will attack you while in the water.
As far as I can tell, this is the lowest-lvl camp spot for mages and necros to take advantage of the command /pet guard here. Jonah first, then Cynthia in RM,then Tundra Yetis in OT, and so on. There are prolly other camp spots for mages/necros(thinking seafuries?), but I don't know any more of them
i went to kill Jonah at lvl 16, everyone was saying he is such a easy kill and gives really good xp, when i got there, he agroed right away, and since he was a monk, i couldnt sing a song for more then 5 seconds....he kinda whooped on me. what should i do?? i really want to camp him because he is talked about sooooo much, blah.
With the bard class, there are many ways to solo. For these lower levels, what I found worked best was having some decent weapons and twisting the level 6 Hymn, and the level 7 Warsong. If you're good at twisting, you can probably add in that level 2 Chords to do a little damage and drop the mob's AC, but be careful due to the AE aspect of it. I try to stay away from my AE songs, and focus on group enhancements and/or single target stuff.
I'm not sure as to how much room you would have here, but one form of bard soloing is the bellow kite. Basically, you run in a circle around the mob with selo's, bellowing it in between selo's pulses.
Where does he spawn? Could a 15 warrior with full banded except guants(my guants are crafted) and a 2hs weapon that I can hit for 29 with be able to take him down or should I wait till level 16?
my pet could ALMOST solo him as a 16 mage. i couldve gone from 16 to 20 in one night by /pet guard here and sitting on the hill!! maybe if i had a fire pet since hes a monk and hits fast, hmmm... trissa is really good too, but she is camped LIKE HELL! and recentyl has been made a lvl40+ npc due to the constant campin! DAMN U VERANT! hope this helps!
