Vivial the True says 'Welcome to the Plane of Knowledge, or New Tanaan. All are welcome here, so please feel free to explore. Our home here is a safe haven to those who seek knowledge of all sorts, and many find themselves setting off upon new adventures based on what they find here. No harmful magics may be used, nor weapons. Our fair city also acts as a hub of sorts into Norrath and other destinations. Are you [new to the world]?

Vivian the True says 'How delightful. It is always pleasant to meet new people such as yourself. I forsee a life of great adventure for you. This is a rich bustling city. It may take you some time to learn your way around like a native, but there are a few basic things you may want to familiarize yourself with before we part ways. If you are curious, merely to explore one of the tasks that I have offered you, or all of them!'

Training Day
Welcome to the Plane of Knowledge! Every class has a guild master who can teach you certain skills and abilities as you grow stronger. You can find these masters in the starting cities as well as right here in New Tanaan. Visit your guildmaster and take a look at the abilities offered for you.

Hit Alt+M to bring up your Actions window. Click the Find button to bring up a list of NPCs that can be found within the zone. Look for the guild master named in your task, and follow the golden path to them.

Tomes of Knowledge
Every class has special abilities that they use to gain an advantage over their enemies. For those involved of a more physical nature, there are combat arts and abilities that must be learned. If you are a student of magic, you will find the need to upgrade your spells as your power grows. Here within the Plane of Knowledge you will find many of the abilities or spells that you need.

Hit Alt+M to bring up your Actions window. Click the Find button to bring up a list of NPCs that can be found within the zone. Look for the vender that is listed in your task window and follow the golden path to them.

Common Cents
Most cities and areas of high commerce have at least one banker setting up shop. You can find three here in Plane of Knowledge. You may have already learned how banking works within the Mines of Gloomingdeep. Visit the banker and take a look at your bank space. There are two slots at the bottom labeled 'Shared Bank' in which items can be placed that may be accessed by any character on this account.

Hit Alt+M to bring up your Actions window. Click the Find button to bring up a list of NPCs that can be found within the zone. Look for 'Banker' and click on Banker Ceridan to bring up a golden path to him. Follow this path and speak to the banker.
