These are some strange creatures, they are butterflies, but they look like dragons, they grow about as big as a horse, and have a really nasty bite. Best way to catch one, get a big net, a really big bug-zapper. WARNING: attacking young WILL lure adults if you are in Lfay, and you really don't want that. i think adults have fire-breath but not sure. i wasn't going to get cooked agian. These are really pretty when you kill'em and stuff'em and keep'em in your room. Most of the time they carry nothing but a few coins, but sometimes they have gems or jewerly.

Nah it's a mutant drake. Fae drakes and dragons are know for having fairy/butterfly wings. Great for nailing to trees with arrows, just aim for the eye spots.

Well pixie tricksters drop farie dust. Not all that often but theres so many of em that you'll get one in no time:).

The level is not 2, I was in their camp with my seven half-elf warrior and they conned black and blue. Didn't try to kill them because too many to fight at once and I didn't know the way back to the lifts. Just knew the lifts were at 0,0. Their camp location is around -1400, +2500.

On your way to Butcherblock mountains, you may see some on the path. A cool thing about these little dragon/butterfly things is that when you slay them, they nose dive like a plane hitting the ground hehe thats raw!

ok listen closely these are ways to find them ok step 1 go out in the middle of nowhere and run around lost till you find 1 then you kill it and your lost and you have to keep shouting whats the loc of orc lift ect. ect. step 2 be a ranger (like me) and go on the trail to bb and track then you find them then you go out and follow the directions and the your lost by now you should have pretty good tracking skills so run around keep tracking till it shows a guard or merchant but dont do it with orcs orcs hang around everywhere (just like fae drake hatchins) so fins the guard and go back to the lift, and thats about th.. th... th... thats all folks

I went into the Druids guild and back in the Ranger section I saw something like this but it had it's own specific name, i could kick myself for not taking a screen shot, but it started with a G and I dont see it on the list, It conned red, but amiable to me so i just watched it for a bit cause it was so pretty and I thought it was odd that it was in the guild house. Does anyone know which one that was that I saw that could have it's own name starting with a G and pronounced "griny" but spelled different (possibly cant remember)?

You have met Grynn, the companion of Ran Sunfire (who hands out the pixie dust quest). We are blessed by Tunare to have this beautiful creature live in the ranger's guild of Kelethin, Faydark's Champions. I believe Grynn is on the same faction as the guild (Faydark's Champions) although he may also have Skytalon faction as well, I'm not sure. Grynn is quite charming and if you have the opportunity please stop by and visit. I have never returned home not to be greeted by him in the back of the guild. So, I do not believe he go's out much.

When i was a lvl 10 ranger i found a group that conned green.I pulled 1 and before i know it i have 40HP left.

I must have killed 8 of em last nite...so shiny and spatable. the loot was gems and decent money for such a lil fellow...where do they keep their money..i do not remeber doing a body cavity check for it.

Legendary me hind quaters, i had a level 2 druid and saw like 5 of these 1 conned red to me so it is not level
I see one of these almost every time I go into Greater Faydark. They aren't as rare as people make them though I would definitely classify them as uncommon. On a note ... DO NOT kill these things if you want to be left alone by their bigger brothers in Firona (good races apply only). These things start out with indifferent to most people and killing them will just case troubles for you in Firona Vie later on. Just a heads up.

Okay, I was running to Butcherblock once and I saw one of these with my level 8 bard. It conned green, so I asked about it. People said it was a rare spawn, so I decided to kill it. It dropped some weird gem, I forgot the name(Turqouise I think), that sold for 6gp. I have no info on their spawning, so I guess its random and rare. It seemed to put up a pretty good fight for its level so dont trust the level. Good luck finding one, I havent seen one since.

Sometimes you get gems off them, or money, but its rare to find anything on them. I just like killin them!
