This now has extended affliction III wich increases the duration of most DoTs, snares and roots (not sure what else). This would point it more twards necros/shamans/druids. But, obviously, other classes would benifit from this effect as well.

Depends on how much weight the monk has already, monks lose like 6 ac for every pound overweight they go. So even with this giving 40 actual ac the monk would have to be at least 4 pounds from their weight cap before putting this on to even start to gain AC.
I believe that the 10 weight is an obvious deterent for monks. This must have been planned by Verant. It is almost too good for anyone in a range slot (dont flame, that is just my opinion) especially a monk.
I understand that it could be used by a monk, especialy a lvl 55+ monk with the added weight alowance. But, it would have to be used with sacrafices.
My main is not a monk, but whether or not a monk decides to take on the 10 stones or to let a poorly ac caster have it will ultimately be up to the monk (that is if he/she/it gets a chance to have it).
Becursed but happy cleric of Innoruuk 40th sphere of hate Terris-Thule
Good for anyone cept monk in my opinion. 25 ac would help anyone along with the resists. Too bad its too uber for me :( 5 more levels and i'll be in there. Oh well... Grats to the one who got this.
