Nobody would give this away it drops off a level 66 dragon. And if I was in a guild that went on a raid to get it if I found out that the person that was awarded such an uber item decided to sell it I would scream -- does not get any better. There is no way any warrior or knight type would give this up

I would tend to agree. Could you imagine a raid of that magnetude for the sole purpose of farming the item? It would lose it's uniqueness and prestige. This is how we seperate the twinks from the players :o)

Since I was INVOLVED in the raids. We get 0 help from GMs buddy. We work through trial and error. And my god, there is a lot of trial and error. And no one involved in the Fires raids has ANYTHING against Afterlife. In fact, relations between the two guilds is pretty friendly, as info is shared back and forth. It's guys like you that dream up some rivalry, and badmouth one or the other to make it seem like one is innately superior. We were the first to kill Aaranyor, Lord Feshlak, Dagarn the Destroyer, Cekenar, Sevelak, Lord Koi'doken, Lady Mirrenilla, Jorlaeg, Lord Kaizon, and Lady Nevedaria. But I give massive kudos to AL for killing Zlenax first, because that guy is one of the WORST fights in the zone, and the troubles and tribulations of that fight is something that guys like you will NEVER need to worry about.

IMHO, AL will beat us to Lord Vyemm and Kulak'Aerr, the last two remaining unkilleds. Why? Well, I could comment, by frankly you wouldn't understand without being there and knowing both guilds FAR better.

First off, no one's cleared ToV - so whether Afterlife or FoH will be first is yet to be determined. Right now, both Lord Vyemm and Vulak'Aerr are unkilled. Given how badass Vulak'Aerr is, it may be quite some time before that happens. Who knows? Maybe neither will clear the zone first, because of the poor rewards the area offers. Second, FoH receives no help from GMs. They just do things the old fashioned way - trial and error, and the genius of their leader for figuring things out in this game. His plans may not always work, but every failed attempt causes him to correct errors. As to which is the better guild... who cares? Not anyone in FoH or AL, I'll tell you that much. FoH has done more first, but AL is one of the most impressive, well-organized guilds ever seen in a game.

Say what you will about FoH, but they live in the shadows of Afterlife. AL has a website displaying a ton of 'Firsts' on many big acheivements. The reason AL owned in ToT is for one reason, if you ever popped over to MM and watched AL, you'd notice OBSCENELY ridiculous organization and teamwork. However, Afterlife, although I don't feel their people are necessarily the best solo players, in terms of guild play, they own all due to their hardcore dedication and determination to do what was thought to be unattainable. That and their main Monk, Denzalo, is my personal hero as far as Monks go and is hands down the best Monk anywhere on any server, bar none. Tunare will be next, I'm sure )

Reason for that is the time investment. You need to keep the plane entirely clear, and that takes a lot of people and many hours. Not to mention how tough she is herself. She may be killable, but the fight itself against her will have incredible amounts of death.

Don't be lame....I can't think of a Paladin, Warrior, OR Shadowknight that wouldn't sacrifice something in order to have this AC...

You can even remove 5 off the weight for the str bonus. I'll probably never see VP, as I'm a casual gamer, even though I have a great guild. But, I'd wear it in a heartbeat (and my str bites, so I'd be able to take practically NO loot while wearing).

Hang in there Erobate..being a fellow Paladin I had to comment. There are plenty of str inducing items in the game that weigh almost nothing...rings, earrings,..etc. Being a casual player doesnt mean that you wont obtain this item someday.. it just means it will take longer. Who cares what anyone else thinks that you may be playing the game a year and are lvl 40..you have more important things in RL. Which by far exceeds anything in a game. Being in a guild will help you in the long run as well. If someone is conciderably higher they can help powerlvl (if you dont know what this is, its simply this: getting help with a high lvl mob to keep you alive to kill it and get all the xp). Some folks look down upon this, but there is nothing wrong with this method..especially since you dont play much you can gain lvls quickly and go with fellow higher lvl guildmates to bigger and better places. I had the same problem for some time with leveling as well in the beginning. As well as getting a good amount of coin (which everyone has this problem in the begining, theres no way around it). Well keep head up high and hang in there, it will happen for you..too bad Im not on the same server I would gladly help you out to the best of my ability.

It's an old style (non-Velious) plate breastplate. It's sort of a reddish gray, kind of close to mrylokar's. Neat because it's a unique color, although you'd have to be standing close to tell. :)

Many of the harder mob like easy VP dragons and Trak they kill without anyone even dieing. And, they are the nicest people i have ever met. In my book the qualify as the Most Uber Guild.

We still have to do Lord Vyemm, the one with the funky name, and Zlenax (spelling? I don't remember). It'll be a bit, last ones are the real toughies, gathering some strength. Probably be down this weekend.

The loot, though impressive to a lot of the people in the game, is a little disappointing. Some of the stuff not submitted yet is frankly god awful (charged items, etc). So incentive to be doing deep ToV has been waning a bit.

Tunare, I dunno. Big of a time commitment, that one is going to be on the back burner for a while probably.
