Hey this is what i think... sure iksars do not get much in the way of "uber gear" but personally i cant wait to get to 46 so i can get this gear i have an iksar SK named Greenmistt and i plan upon getting the armor AND the weapon and paid 3k for a Velium Swiftblade because is LOOKED like the greenmist (since i am not high enuf to quest for it rite now) and it makes me feel special to carry a wep that looks like the greenmist and the thing is i LIKE to roleplay my iksar so this armor is obviosly for those of us who like to roleplay for the rest of you shut up and go buy some crystal chitin armor or just dont play iksars but personally i wish there were more iksars in norrath because the simple concept of iksars is very interesting IMO
'Bout time VI gave the leezards some PH4T L3WTZ! Hehe, 34 lvls of banded, Ry`Gorr, and Dreadscale are finally seeming to not be so bad! Now for those complaining, why do you even care? I don't complain about all the softskins getting Sentient and Blood Ember, so why are you complaining about Greenmist armor? Bah, go HT yourselves an' lemme drool in peace.

But neither do Greenmist Gauntlets apparently (but there ARE Umbral Gauntlets). So both Iksar and non-Iksar SK's have seven pieces of Fear armor each. Stop complaining about that.

How should I put this.....hmmmm....ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!
I can go on and on naming all the nice wpns and armor that Iksar cannot wear....quit yer whinning and get over it (as I have heard over and over again early on in the Kunark days).
Speaking of nice items...a ver nice item dropped in the Hole last nite... an "Imbued Granite Spaulder" last nite...lol...CAN I WEAR IT????? NO! Did I fuss.....NO!

As an Iksar SK, i am very happy with what we get in Greenmist.. stats are comparable to any other class plane armor. and it looks nice. so what if few people play Iksar Sks? just makes those who do all the more interesting i think. not many SKs as is. damn shame, as SKs are a sweet class, they just bloom late. oh well, less SKs make me feel special :)

Iskar SK's get screwed over in armor and AC from day one not able to wear plate armor. Ooooh a whoping 12 ac bonus to start off with. Yeah that makes up for not being able to wear Dark Forge, Sentinent or Blood Ember. We finally get some decent armor and you complain about it cause few people play Iksar Sk's. Ok so take out all of our armor and replace it with Druid armor, since they are by far the most played class in the game. We have suffered long enough with below average armor, its about time Verant gave us something.

Posted: Apr 07 2001 at 2:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) what i would like to know is why did they make an armor slot item (MASK) that drops for iskar but dont drop for any other class? ever heard of umbral masks or indocilite masks? thats pretty damm silly, and pissed me off pretty good. not only do iksar have an AC bonus, better regen, but they have better planar gear now, WTF?
The mask is because the quest armor as a mask. The Heirophan get a Cloak and the Legionair get Pauldrons. hehe a mask to hide from the god of fear, a cloak to protect one self from heresy and pauldrons to cary the weight of duty opon you shoulder. that is what i think and it fdits well whit the iksar philosiphy.

Problem is, most of them are twinks. I can count on two hands how many iksar SKs there are on my server (counting myself). But that's good. It means that there won't be much competition for the rolls.

Once again the Dreaded No Drop Classification Strikes, that sucks, it might be nice except there arent really any Iksar Shadowknights like Dzenith said.
I'm really not sure why everyone makes a point of saying how the new pieces being found in Hate/Fear are No Drop. It's rare to find loot from planes that are dropable...the whole point is to make sure no little twink gets to wear plane gear, plenty of other good dropable items for that purpose.

Yup, and it can be worn by like 3 people on a server. Most people won't pick an iksar for a SK because the plate armor was unwearable by them. Now they come out with this stuff. Very few people play SK's. Very few SK's are iksar. VERY few people can wear this.
What is verant thinking? SK armor rots in fear all the time. So put iksar only armor in hate?
The whole point of doing the cross-referrencing of classes for hate/fear was to get a little more variety on the raids. This won't help.

Mostly to stop the Iksars from complaining. They have to have something to make them want to go to the alter planes other than god loot.
