I prefer to use my crystal chitin gauntlets. They're 1 ac less, but add 10 str, instead of just 2. Granted, you miss the 1 dex and 15 hps, but I still feel that the 10 str is better (I'm nowhere near max str). As for the resists, and 5 cha, they are not worth getting these either. Don't get me wrong, they are definately nice, but there are better options out there that's are still affordable.

Before you laugh at them, look at the AC and then look at the AC on singing steel gaunts.

Whomever said these suck has no clue. These guants rule. Read the whole list of stats and then tie it in with the rest of the armor.

Well, first, having a full set of this armor would requier very much more then just a smile. Second, you dont want the full set if the only thing you want from your gear is AC saves and stats...wich is quite almost every EQ player is looking for with his gear. The only purpose to get those imo are if you win a roll on the plate you need to craft them and want it for roleplay or something...
