I got one tonight and yes it IS offhand only. still a nifty little trinket to show off. No idea on the value. I imiagine not too much, some people said about 2k.
I recently won this in a lotto. I was partnered with a Wizard so neither of us could use. I'm curious what does the Crystalline Eye sell for on Xegony? I've asked in Fay-Mart, in the Great Divide and a few other zones, most people have been saying 2k - 3k plat, does that sound about right?
I looted one tonight, everyone was like, "man, that is not so good". I myself will be very happy to part with it to a wis caster, and ALOT of people are buying these in Ewastes and GD, at least on Xegony. Resists are resists are resists, well, you get the point :) WAY better than his other drop :p

It's painfully clear when you see someone who hasn't played the high level game sometimes...
What if your priest class character already has over 200 WIS? Or perhaps wants to go on a raid,
where resists in the 100 to 200 range are not only expected but darn near required?
Heh I'd love to hear about those dozens of items better than a Crystalline Eye. Personally, as soon as I get the five extra WIS to be able to switch out my Springwood Club I will be wearing this item permanently and be very satisfied with it.
And you can forget about me ever selling it for 3 K...that's a steal.

Pretty sure this is off hand only. A cleric in my group won the roll on one and said he could not equip it in the main hand. Please check it again and get back to us.
