I strongly doubt that the Smoldering Fur-Lined Shoes are from DoN, since I have a pair on Thornblade, and have since kunark or classic.

Both this item and the named appeared in February 2005 (according to posts here and Lucy info), which coincides with the DoN release.

Probably random loot shenanigans then. /shrug
I have concerns that Lavastorm as well as any other new revamped zones (Freeport is next I believe) are going to become the new Uber zones because of the new drops that are available.
We can all deny that we will not hunt in Lavastorm people that are at least 50 or higher, but who can resist the sort of drops that are available here especially with the sorts of stats they have. I sincerely hope that Lavastorm and any other revamped zones do not become UBER CAMP zones that people have to sign up to camp the various Mobs which indeed would become a real disappointment for some people who would like a shot at getting some of those items without waiting what might become weeks or mayby even months.
