I followed the recipe I found on eqtraders.com of 1 folded sheet metal, 1 long blade mold, 1 pommel mold, 1 hilt mold, and 1 water flask. However, it would not permit me to combine these items, so I tried in the Freeport Forge and it still would not permit me to combine them.
Any ideas what I did wrong?

Larney did you use the royal forge to try and make it in. Any other Forge will not take the recipe.

I have a 38 Barb warrior that used one of these for quite a while. In fact, I still have it, just don't use it now. hehehe

Im a lv 17 ranger and right now i am dual weilding these swords. Dmg/dly ratio is awesome but i pull them off for magic creatures. I will attempt to make the enchanted one very soon maybe when i get 175. One thing i was wondering was if the jewel needs to be imbued or regular.

This was not especially difficult to construct. I made it as a master blacksmith with a skill of 115 and it gave me the message that I could not advance my skill making this item any longer so it trivials under 115, how much under i do not know.
Made the trip to Qeynos to make these...cost about 32 plat total, and I've not found a buyer yet. They're good dam/delay ratio, and would be great for a twink or teen level, but I wonder how they can compete with other low level magic weapons you can get for not much more. Anyone else found a market for these fine blades?

How did this cost you 32pp to make? The long blade mold is the most expensive component, and it costs 10pp for me. I think all told, it adds up to about 17-18pp to make, not counting failures.
Incidentally, I've noticed that I fail at the ALS MUCH more often than I do for ANY other trivial item that I make.
Finally, you might be interested to know that I'm going to make the enchanted version soon. My guild has some Jacinths that I'm going to purchase (in the spirit of fairness), and then I'm going to be the first person on ANY server to make the Enchanted Antonian Longsword (of which there are two versions, the Ruby enchanted (more expensive) and the Emerald enchanted (less expensive)). I think I'll give both a shot if I can get the money to buy that many Jacinths.
