ok just bought this today and went to try it and said i need a Horse Modles and a Luclin Character Modle the question is where can i find the 2 things at plz send tell to tinka on tunare server or to mey email atwoodnr@aol.com
Ok, I went to PoK and position myself at -510.43 facing dead North (up against the south wall) and ran to +510.43 (the opposite wall of the zone) and timed some different things... (of course keep in mind with the start up times of mounts, over a longer distance the drogs would gain more advantage, but my test was just over that 1020 point distance)
Spirit of Wolf 24 seconds Spirit of Eagle 22 seconds Small Drum ?? (No size) Drum 26 seconds Large Drum ?? Giant Drum 18 seconds
Just to let everyone know. The 4 Gnoes standing around in the tower towards the back are the ones you sell your Drums back to. Each one takes a different collor drum. You just Hail them and the tell you the color of the drum they are looking for. After that, just hand in your drum to the one that will take your color drum and they will give you a bag of PP that you can just sell and get like 60% or 70% of your money back.
can someone tell me detailed directions on how to get to the gulf of gunthak? i know where the gnome is, but i need to know how to get to the gulf. thanks
But to my mind the crucial phrase is 'They can match a horse, hoof step for hoof step'.
So in the spirit of nicking info from somewhere else (care of Zestee):
here are the speeds of the Horses and therefore Drogmor...
9K Rope Bridle = 25% Movement Rate Increase 30K Leather Bridle = 50% Movement Rate Increase 60K Silken Bridle = 60% Movement Rate Increase 100K Chain Bridle = 70% Movement Rate Increase
So, from reading his quote:
SMALL Drums = 25% Movement Rate Increase Drums (No size name) = 50% Movement Rate Increase LARGE Drums = 60% Movement Rate Increase GIANT Drums = 70% Movement Rate Increase
Hope this helps, took me a bit to find all of the info (wish Allak would post the speeds on the effect link or something ... or if not Allak, at least Lucy )
That's not accurate at all, somebody was just guessing.
The slowest horse and drogmor are 7%, which is less than Run Speed 1. The fastest purchased horse and drogmor are 114%. I doubt many people buy the two in between.
I recently purchased a drog under the assumption that i would be getting sitting regen while not getting sitting agro. I am not getting sitting health regen. Am I suppose to? As far as sitting mana regen I haven't tested that completly but I am for sure not getting the health regen bonus for sitting.
ok so i bought the white drog because it was all i could afford at the time now i have a question is there a way to trade or sell it to upgrade or am i sh-- out of luck and have to buy another and destroy it
No you are not stuck with that Drum however when you turn the Drum in you will receive back approximately 60% of what you paid for it. Drums can be turned into the appropriate gnome in the Lighthouse. Talk to each one they each accept a different color Drum only. Hope this helps.

Just so everyone knows ...... DONT EVER BUY A HORSE!!! Buy a Drogmor instead. The horses big fat head partially blocks your view and is a targetting nightmare. Drogmor heads dont block your view and are every bit as fast as horses. HORSES REALLY, REALLY SUCK!!!
Before you jump on a Dino bandwagon here - if you are shrunk - horses head disappears completely from the screen. For my shammy - I shrink myself down - summon my horse - it was like I was standing up - no issues with targeting at all.
OK, you don't like horses. Say it once. NOT on every mount related page on this site.
Personally, I like my horse. I've never had trouble targetting from a horse, but then, anyone on a horse is a caster (except for the SK/Pallies who get free aa horse), and casters typically should be using the assist key anyway.
I have a drogmor for my druid, and don't care for it, when it runs, the entire screen jostles around like you were driving a 4x4 offroad.
Thanks for your opinion, but thats all it is. NOT FACT, JUST YOUR PREFERENCE. And not worth posting 30 times.
Well, IF he had just posted, a neutral statement like: "Hey, before you consider buying a horse, be aware that some people find that the head makes targetting using the mouse pointer difficult."
The point is, his Post was titled "horses SUCK".
I disagree. I use a horse constantly, and have no targetting problems at all. However, I rarely ever use the mouse to target. F1-F6 target the group/ my assist key targets the mob. My /tar key targets MA, SA, etc.
I personally like horses BETTER. I have a drogmor for my druid, and frankly don't like it. Note I don't say it sucks, just that I don't prefer it.
Also, cross posting to 30 spots, the exact same message, is bad message board etiquette. Some even ban people for it. Note that I only replied to ONE of this 30 redundant messages.
actually my friends when they started to cast kei for donations what not in pok they needed to switch from a drog to a horse because of targeting problems but no.. horses dont suck lol
How does this effect mana regen or preservation. what are the key difference in the drums as relation to price. Is a drog better choice over a horse? differences?
While u are on the mount it is as if you are sitting and medding. You can move around, cast spells, melee or whatever all while mana is regening as if sitting. I don't know exact % so do wanna open up for the flamers, but the more expensive ones are faster. Which is better is all preference, with the drogs ya don't have the annoying horse ears in your view and the drogs have a slight sway, i guess if you get seasick easy this could be a problem, hehe.
although this item has nothing to do with a bard's instruments i figured i would answer your question..... yes, a bard can equip more than one of the same instrument but the effects do not stack. the stronger of the 2 effects would overwrite the weaker.
example: you could easily equip a thunderous drum of karana(180 percusion modifier) in your primary hand and a gem inlaid longsword(40 percussion modifier) in your secondary hand but you would only get the 180 modifier added to all percussion song not 180 + 40 = 220.
Although this has "drum" in the name, it may not be used as a bard instrument. The same goes for all other drogmor-summoning drums purchaseable from the vendor in Gulf of Gunthak.
