normal group is 7 range, on raid is it like 10 lvl's? book said 6-10 lvls that I got with LDoN so is it 10 for raid. most our members are 65 but we do have a few in the 50's
When you see items with 130ish Hitpoints/Mana - this means that the item is equivalent to drops that are seen in the Elemental Zones. For a regular raid - this would mean 32 people - all level 65 - and everyone should have at least 100AA points - and lots of gear simmilar to this. This is the starting point for a raid of this nature.
What I am still not clear on - is do the chests at the end of a win have just one item like this? or 2-3? In the Elemenatl planes - a Raid Force of 32 might take out a mob that could drop an item like this - but most of the actual Ele mobs need FGR (Full Guild Raid (ie at leat 45-60 people) - but they can drop 1-3 items of this quality.
I dunno, he LDoN raids are very hard. From what i've seen not many successes so far on our server. Might be a few but i honestly do not keep track. As of i know our guild wiped on one. An we are elemental.
So as far as anything else goes...no clue...great helm, with good augment slots..
the worn effect regeneration, with a slapped on hp 40 aug, then a vengence 3-4..... I mean 170hp is the suck in a helmet... specially with regen and +15-20 attack.
Keep in mind that this item drops in a raid that is appropriate for elemental-geared guilds. That means that in order to get this, you're going to have to progress to a level of play where this becomes merely "good" loot.
One of the problems that I have with EQ today is that PoP has so divided the game that it's like someone let a bunch of people from another video game into EQ. As a pre-elemental player, I find this sort of loot disheartening. No matter how good that item I just got in one of the revamp zones may be... it seems like junk now. :-(
It says: Raid result, Normal difficulty. That means an average guild of 30ish level 60-65 people could potentially get this. And, hard group adventures are not impossible. They just take more time and concentration.
Altera Vita is the 2nd guild to reach the Plane of Time on the Xev server. Their success rate on LDoN raids at "normal" level is currently only 60 percent. Not sure of details of the raids but it does give some food for thought on this.
Yes, I would give half my kingdom for this helm... of course, half my kingdom consists of 2 rotting Halfling heads, some blood soaked socks, and a green loaf of bread... Oh well.
